Established in 1994, Intervention Services is a private and nonprofit agency located in Maitland, Fla. It offers a wide range of services, such as in-home, in-school and community-based treatment for children with mental health and behavior disorders. It also provides therapeutic and specialized foster care services. Intervention Services offers adoption program that recruits and trains parents for adopting abused and neglected children. Its child welfare case management program deals with the prevention and intervention of child abuse, neglect and abandonment cases. It additionally provides independent living program that supports youth of ages from 13 to 23 and provides training to live independently and become self-sufficient adults. Its counseling services include individual, group and family counseling. Intervention Services also sponsors various continuing education programs and seminars.
