Florida MENTOR is a health care organization that provides clinical care and therapeutic services for at-risk youths. It offers after-hour crisis placement, developmental and respite care services. The organization also provides a therapeutic foster care program that focuses on meeting the individualized needs of its members. It offers individual and family therapies, as well as utilizes a behavior modification approach for curing sexual abuse and reactive attachment disorder. Florida MENTOR also utilizes the Model Approach to Partnership in Parenting program to train foster parents throughout Florida. It serves individuals and families in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties in Florida. The organization is a part of The MENTOR Network, which was founded in 1980 and maintains a network of social service providers.
