Brick House

We always order food here at my workplace. When I first tried it. It was amazing and the food was great. The customer service was okay but they did miss a few of our stuff but they would take their time to bring our missing items back. After the old owner left and they got a new owner. The food got horrible where I puked out my food cause it tasted burnt and over cooked. They kept messing up our orders. The owner was very rude when we called about it. We've complained about them so much about messing up our orders. Got tired of this place so we stopped ordering from there. I will never ever eat there again!

Wonderful food and a wonderful staff :-) We will definitely be back. The pizza was delicious, the fried pickles and sweet tea were too.

Good food, good prices, and good service. I've ate at the Brickhouse about four times and have no complaints.

Excellent service and food. Great selection on menu with great prices. The deep fried oreos are to die for.!!!!

Worst meal we ever had in a restaurant. Spent $16 each on surf & turf. The surf was 2 Tablespoons of miniscule popcorn shrimp, it was a joke, and not even good. The "10 oz ribeye" was less than 1/2" thick and there was no marbling, but huge blobs of white fat flopped over on top of the steak. The steak was not seared, it looked gray and steamed, and it was covered with a Mrs. Dash type seasoning that overtook the flavor in a bad way. It was not cooked as we specified (medium to medium rare). You literally could not cut it and you definitely couldn't chew it. It was presented on a small oval plate with a pile of frozen French fries. Because of the plate size, you had no way to trim or cut the steak without knocking all the fries off. The three of us paid $15.99 each for that mess, half the steak was waste because of the huge piece of fat (not the nice rib eye fat cap - it was just a gross thing). Onion rings were also frozen. Tried a personal size cheese pizza, it was tasteless and the tiny amount of sauce tasted like Prego. Our server was very nice and attentive, but she could not overcome frozen sides, horrible over-seasoned and poor quality meat, and poor execution of the dish. Next time you serve a shoeleather piece of meat, al least serve it on a plate big enough for the customer to wrestle with it and get some decent steak knives. The meat got stuck in my throat a few times, it was THAT fibrous. When the 3 of us got the bill for $62 plus $10 tip, and realized we could have eaten at Lineberger's and gotten a great steak for that, we were upset. My 94 year old dad was treating us and the money is not easy for him to come by. He was upset all night. We did not want to cause a scene or look rude so we just paid the bill and left, but we really should have just sent everything back. Kicking myself today.

I visited Brickhouse Tavern for the first time and I would like to say that I had the rudest server I've ever met. She had me wait a long time before being served. My order was wrong and she tried to make me pay for the order, which was her mistake. I will not be back.

I personally watched as a worker rubbed her nose then her hands trough her hair and go back to working with the food. I spoke with both managers and neither one seem to really care except to treat me as if I just wanted free food. I paid for my food but didn't eat it because that just unclean.

Has really good pizza, salads and sandwiches at good prices. The service is very good and they deliver.

We are new to the area, and we ate in the restaurant once, it was okay, nothing great. We decided to order delivery as an alternative to the only other pizza place in the area. We were asked for directions to our house, well we just moved here and I could not give directions to our house, and the lady was acted annoyed that I couldn't give directions. When I asked if anyone had a GPS I was told that they do not rely on that. When I canceled the order they hung up on me, when I called the owner to complain, he only justified why they don't have GPS. In this day and age I am 100% certain that someone in that business had a smart phone, where maps is a free application. Maiden is 5,524 square miles, how can you offer delivery service and NOT know the town , and rely on the customer to do your job. We ordered from POPPA"S pizza instead with not problem, and we ordered it three other times that weekend as we had out of town guests. Brickhouse will NEVER see $1 of our money again.

We decided to try Brickhouse tonight for the first time, and I'm glad we did-we were highly satisfied! No wait to be seated, awesome service, friendly waiter and hostess, great tasting food, and amazing prices! I would highly recommend this place!!

Do not order food from here. It was the worst dinner I have ever had at a restaurant.

The people were nice but I have had better food at Burger King. I don't see this as a breath of fresh air as other reviews have said. I found it to be the biggest disappointment I have had since the time I bought dollar store toilet paper and that was less of a disappointment then this outhouse.the best thing this place can do is shut its doors and never look back.

ABSOLUTELY! The breath of fresh air desperately needed for the citizens of Maiden, NC who are tired of the same ol same ol, and VERY limited selection of food we've had for years. A very nice, sit down restaurant that you can depend on to be open for business on the days it's advertised to be open. Even being located just over the county line (which I believe was a smart move for the owner of this establishment), they deliver in the town limits of Maiden, which earned them an extra star in my book. I'm waiting for them right now to bring my family's dinner. It's great to know that I can have great food delivered that isn't pizza on a Saturday night!

I've ordered from the Brickhouse several times and have been in a couple times. The food is great. Everything is fresh and homemade. I'd definitely recommend this place. If you're looking for fancy, it's not but if you're looking for good food, it's the place to be.

Ordered a Turkey sub with one side item that was on the lunch special. The price was good it came to six dollars and that included the drink. The sandwich was ok, but nothing spectacular, and the side item I ordered was mac and cheese that I believe was probably the worst I ever had. The service was good and the everyone friendly.
