Pizza Pit

I have been ordering from the pit since the late eighties,tonight was very different. I ordered the two extra large with two toppings,not deviating much from my usual order. On one pizza I requested ground beef and jalapenos and for the second pizza I requested pepperoni and green peppers,a pound and a half of the wings and drummies with a two liter of Pepsi,totaling 38.26,wait time 45mins to an hour,that fine. Once the order got here, I proceeded to sign my name and tip the driver always. The driver has left and my family and I are watching the Packers game. I noticed that the pizza wasn't piping hot as always,at that point I stated to my family that there is no steam or smoke coming from the pizza like always,so I call the store up and ask to speak with the manager,after being on hold for a minute or two,the manager picks up the phone,so I proceeded to explain what just occurred.The manager then pulls up the order so he thought,remember earlier in my statement I said that my order was slightly different,not deviating much from my usual order. I stated to the manager in polite way that my pizza was warm and in all the years that I have ordered from them have I not ever received a warm pizza. The manager reply was that you have never received a warm pizza, I said no. He then go on to say that maybe the driver's bag wasn't working properly at that point he realized I wasn't buying that explanation,so he states that they are behind because of the Packers game. He then ask what is it that I wanted to do.I then went on to say,well I'm complaining about the service and the line went dead. I will be calling the regional office tomorrow since the pit is now hiring people with bad manager skills which reflects poorly on their company as a hold. A valuable customer since the late eighties. No resolution at all!

I to have been going to Pizza Pit since I was a little girl at different locations around Madison. By far my favorite pizza, unfortunately this location is currently closest to us and employees seem to be very inconsiderate and not looking out for the customers best interest. Shame, because now I'll never order from this location again.

I have been eating this pizza since I was a young girl and I'm now middle aged and this pizza has never disappointed me.The prices are more than reasonable and the quality hasn't slipped in 40 years. I've sampled other pizzas and the field is highly competitive but I always return to my neighborhood Pizza Pit for the best pizza in our city.
