All Dolled Up

I'm saddened to write this review, I prefer to talk with a manager or owner and try to resolve the issue and not go straight to the Internet. However, I have tried so many times to get in touch with the owner Florence to no avail. My daughter needed a hair cut and she had previously visited this establishment for nails and enjoyed herself, so I booked an appointment, after 1 week I finally got a call. We arrived to a full room, of mostly grown women, in a children's salon watching "the talk" on tv. The content was not appropriate for my five year old. Then the stylist started to work on her hair. The shampoo was even a struggle. She pulled my daughters hair and my daughter started to cry. She then proceeded to ask how old my daughter was. I thought she was trying to console her but when my child responded, she said "well then you are supposed to be a big girl, big girls don't cry like this." She made her feel badly in front of everyone. Also she must not have been experienced in cutting my daughter's type of hair because she just proceeded to brush it flat and cut one terribly crooked line! I was horrified, my little girl was crying and had wet destroyed hair. I couldn't bear to let the girl keep working. I asked how much I owed her and she responded 40.00!!!!!For an incomplete terrible children's hair cut! I know the priced quoted was very inflated because of the lack of quality and I looked on the website upon leaving and they are listed at 19.99. I paid for fear that I would upset my daughter more if I pushed the issue further. I have a picture but I cannot post it in the review. It was a very pricey traumatic experience for mom and daughter. I wouldn't recommend it.
