        Front Desk Staff is not very welcoming & never actually heard them say 'hi' or welcome' to any guest. The housekeeping & general staff wear street clothes with no badge- so how do u know who actually works there?

        Room- clean; we had a beach view-which was amazing doing yoga in the mornings watching the sunrise. Bedside lamp wasn't working & bathtub drained slow both were fixed by the time we came back a few hrs later that day. I did need to leave a note to replace the plastic drinking cups.
        Bathroom- needs updating; tile is chipped in places. No holder to place hand towels or wet towels. When taking a shower, floor gets soaked bc curtain isn't long enough & has no plastic backing.
        Balcony- needs fresh paint on rails & to clean the concrete. Roomy balcony & nice place to sit.
        Hotel- we booked about 6 months early, we got a cheaper rate & they did honor it.

        Very poor customer service. Booked for 3 nights. Charged for 2. So then they said we were trying to get a free night. Didn't realize what happened. So, with "their mistake" basically told us to pay up or go elsewhere. Very rude. Recommend to anybody, go elsewhere. Horrible staff. Very rude and condescending.

        Floor carpet looks dirty and cheap

        Hotel is good and comfortable. Staff is
        Cooperative. Good breakfast. One thing I noticed that floor carpet is dark and looks cheap. Bath room sink top cover is BLACK. Over all I can give 3 and 1/2 stars out of 5.

        Everyone was very friendly and...

        Everyone was very friendly and the entire hotel was clean. My family makes an annual trip to Mackinaw, and I usually try to stay at a different hotel each time, however I will definately be coming back to Hamilton. The location was great as well. Can't wait to come back!
