Super Star Nails

Just got my nails done there today after reading some good reviews. Called to schedule an appointment and even though they were pretty booked for the day, Nina was able to fit me in. She was also the one who did my nails. I literally didn't wait at all! In fact, I never saw anyone waiting. I got a full acrylic set with french tips. She was speedy and they still came out looking fantastic. The entire visit, from the moment I walked in the door and INCLUDING drying time, took only 50 minutes! She doesn't even charge extra for the french tip airbrush! She knew the name of every single customer that came in while I was there and even though I had never been there before, once she found out my name she proceeded to use it during my entire visit. It made me feel like a regular, even though I wasn't. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a salon!

Went here with friend for first time. Lady at desk was kinda rude. Shellac manicure ok, but salon is dirty. Will try someplace else next time.

have been a customer for about a year and in the very beginning Nina ( the owner) was great. .friendly, helpful and did a great job. Things were going along relatively well until I noticed a few things after visiting a different salon. I had received a gift certificate for a competitor's spa as a gift and went there a few times for their manicures and had something to compare the service I recieved at Superstar nails to, which I hadn't had before. On my return to Superstar I noticed a few things, which concerned me greatly. Upon entering the salon for my appointment, I was barely greeted by Nina, who didnt even look up to make eye contact with me as she sat at her chair filing her toenails, nor when I sat down to begin my appointment. She was silent the entire time I was in her chair, except to lean over to the client next to me to say something when I got up from the chair for a moment. I don't know if she was upset that I had been absent for a month or so while at the other salon, but her attitude was downright rude. This is not the first time she had been unfriendly and rude to me, but I was willing to suck it up, as she did a nice job and only charged me 25.00, if I paid cash under the table. I dont believe that I am a demanding customer and I try my best to treat people with a friendly smile and warm demeanor. With that being said, things also began to go downhill hygiene-wise since my return. The nail polish bottles were dusty and sticky with dripped polish. There was debris and crumbs alongside and behind the pedicure chairs. She used the same nail file on me as she did the client before (I watched as she pulled it out of the drawer after just putting it away from the previous client) as well as the same cuticle clippers, which she hadn't disinfected from the previous client either. The coups de gras was while she was busy tending to another customer ( who was a walk in during my appointment time and left me waiting an extra 20 minutes so she could start her nails) was when her husband, who also works there, scraped all of my shellac polish off with his fingernails after my nails had been soaked in polish remover...as he had done on one other occasion previously. Knowing what I do now, this is completely unsanitary. Ladies take note: a reputable salon will offer you the nail file to take home, as it suppose to be used only once and nail/cuticle clippers should be soaking in disinfectant between clients. Only sterile tools should be used to remove anything from your nail bed. To Nina, I am very disappointed in your disrespectful and rude attitude towards me, which became worse as the weeks went on, after I casually asked about your salon's cleanliness practices. Your obvious disdain has cost you a client and this review. I will be taking my money elsewhere.

First time tonight. I got a pedi and my daughter got a full set of nails. First impression was VERY nice atmosphere. Staff was friendly, personal and knowledgable! Great service and price was pretty good too!! Pedi chairs were the BEST around! Thanks, Terri and Carley

This salon in Macedonia is the best hidden treasure in Macedonia. This is a very friendly and service oriented shop.Nina also does free hand nail art which is amazing as well as Jenny and Lieng. The pedicures are to die for!So, for good & loving care wether its your tootsies or nails. Do what I do get them both done on the same day what a way to relax and get pretty all in the same day! As for the poor review I think she had the wrong nail shop!
