The crew showed up 3 hours late despite me calling that morning to confirm the time of appointment to do the work. When the crew did show up I reviewed the specifics of the trees and shrubs I wanted trimmed. I became alarmed when one of the workers climbed up in one of my maple trees without a ladder or safety gear. I called Mark the owner and told him first I was not happy that the crew was 3 hours late, he said the previous job was more involved and was in the south sound. I said no one called to say that the crew would be late. He said "sorry about that". But when I told him about the worker climbing my tree he said " not to worry and the guy knew what he was doing". Over all the work was OK but I will not be hiring NW Arbor Care again.

Quality work on all tree projects. We are 110% satisfied with their work, after hiring them, repeatedly, for the last ten years.

1. Mark Griffiths is an experienced and knowledgeable Arborist, (member ISA).

2. Very prompt and responsive for a consultation and estimate.

3. Most reasonable cost for large or small projects.

4. Mark's highly skilled crew is vitally important in the Safe trimming or removal of trees. They have shown an outstanding ability to handle large trees, well over a hundred (100) feet tall.

When needed, the timber jack would tie a rope to each branch (high up in the tree), then carefully cutting and lowering it by the rope. They protected the fences, plants, and structures below. Nothing was ever damaged.

5. Grinding the stumps was helpful too.

6. Another project included pruning several smaller trees into unifom shapes. Their tree trimming turned out great, and exceeded our expectations.

7, Thanks to Northwest Arbor Care's work on our trees, attractive improvements have been made to our residential property.

8. Finishing each project, the crew thoroughly cleaned the area, including our driveway. We appreciated how neat and tidy our place looked after their work.

N.W. Arbor cut down a huge tree in my elderly mother's yard. did damage to her roof.A month later, they still haven,t fixed it, and the owner never calls. We will contact their Insurance co. as the owner hasn't.Their website claims that they treat their customers like Gold.(more like Dog doo-doo!)K.B.2009

Tree cut down on 6/2/09.Damaged my mother's roof.Mark(owner) asked us to call several places to come fix.Called 3 people for estimates, only 1 showed.Called mark with estimate,he declined the estimate,said he would fix himself.Didn.t ever call to see if i found anyone for estimates.He didn't show up when he said he would. couple weeks later,still did not call us.I called and he said he would be here within a week, he didn't show up, no phone call,typical of him.Today's date is 8/3/09.Nothing.still no phone call.I'm getting very angry,Is it because my mother is a senior,80 years old. I,m going to report this to his insurance company if i don't hear from him by this wednesday.His website is a bunch of nonsence( he treats his customers like gold) yeah,right mark you jerk!!!!!I don't like when someone try's to screw my mother over. I took the afternoon off from work for a quote ... Mark from Northwest Arbor Care did not show ... nor did anyone call ... I would not recommend

They gracefully rescued my cat up a tree which was down a steep embankment. They can handle difficult slopes and difficult trees with safety and efficiency.
