Prestige Barber Shop

I'm very upset with today's visit. I have been bringing my son here for almost 2 years and they cut his hair perfectly. My husband and I usually bring him Monday - Thurs to get take advantage of the $10 Kids cut however today I was charged $15 (Friday- Sat rate) because my son "has complex hair"????? Really??? Since when??? Even though my son is half Hispanic he was blessed with my hair. Apparently after two years having "white or china" hair as the barbers there have call it, it's considered "Complex" to cut!! As much as I love the job they do on his hair, I will no longer be bringing him there and my husband will no longer be going there either as he is equally upset. So enjoy the extra $10 ($5 tip that I should not have given) you got out of me as it is the last.

the place is very dirty most of the barbers look like thier high or drunk and speak in Ebonics . couldn't even give me a decent fade

Walked in for the first time to this barber shop. Descent decor. Some of the combs/trimmers had not been cleaned. The 20something gentlemen said have a seat. He had some bad body order. His phone then rang. He answered it. He then carried on a conversation in spanish, which he obviously didnt realize I spoke since I'm white, for the ENTIRE length of my haircut. To top it off, he was just talking to a friend about their weekend in the city. He cut the hair to short up the sides onto the top of my head, giving it a rolled look. Then as he breaks out the straight razor to get the edges, a friend of his walked in. So as he has a razor to my neck, he is carrying on two conversations. NIETHER OF WHICH WAS WITH ME. Then at the end, he was so ensconced in chattering that he gave the wrong change. Luckily I'm a honest person and gave him back the error. No tip though. Avoid at all costs, in my opinion.
