Michael A. White, DDS

Dr. Michael White's practice is well worth the 45 minute drive. I am so happy to go to Dr. Michael White's practice! Every time I'm there I feel like I've entered my second home. Everyone there is exceptionally nice! As far as a dentist goes, he's great! As a kid I had a lot of work done at my pediatric dental office. It made me a little hesitant to go as an adult, but Dr. Mike and his staff made me feel at ease. I trust him and his practice and look forward to every appointment!

For my first visit I'm told I'm going to have xrays done. The hygienist gloved up then turned on the water for the cup, went into several drawers left the room twice still gloved up mind you. Came in with the pieces to do my xrays and dumped them on the counter. She put the pieces together and proceed to try and put them in my mouth. I stopped her for several reasons. One do I know the counter is clean. Two you left the room several times with the same gloves and proceeded to want to put them in my mouth. I work in healthcare and the rule is unglove once you leave a room. So then she gets the doctor. The doctor comes in and proceeds to tell me about how they follow OSHA practices and so forth, FYI: that's to protect the employees not the patients. She then tells me that the films have to be taken in the other room for processing to try and explain why the hygienist would consistently wear the gloves out of the room but... there were no films yet the xrays hadn't even been done. She proceeded to ask me if i wanted a referral to another provider. Considering the practices that I viewed I cannot feel confident that another provider they would refer me to would be much better. I did not feel comfortable with the situation and left. I do not recommend going here if you are looking for a professional and sanitary dental office.
