Oak St Andrews

I have lived at the Oak for 2 years and i have not had a problem with anyone the Staff is wonderful. I dont like moving and if i could i would stay there but I m having financial problem...If you are looking for a great place to live give them a try.... LB

THIS PLACE IS THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE IN. COCKROACHES, MICE, MOLD, DOG CRAP EVERYWHERE, CANT LET YOUR KIDS OUT SIDE, GLASS EVERYWHERE, REPAIRS RARELY EVER GOT DONE, UNLESSIT WAS AN EMERGENCY, THE SWEWAGE PIPES ALWAYS BACKED UP (MIND YOU THAT IT'S RIGHT OUT SIDE YOUR FRONT DOOR, #WALKING IN CRAP). THEY AGREED TO A PAYMENT PLAN WITH US, BECAUSE WE WANTED THE HELL OUT OF THERE, SO WE LEFT IN A HURRY (YES IT WAS LEFT WITH SOME TRASH LEFT BEHIND AND THE STOVE AND REFRIGERATOR NEEDED TO BE CLEANED WE WANT TO PAY FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO DO IT SENSE MY SHOULDER HAS BEEN MESSED UP) AND THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO SEND US INVOICE, WHICH NEVER HAPPENED, I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND SHOWED UP THERE AT LEAST 3 TIMES TO MAKE SURE THIS WAS GOING TO BE THE PLAN, I WAITED A LITTLE OVER A MONTH, SHE KEPT TELLING ME THAT THEY ARE VERY BUSY AND HAD THREE OTHER ONE TO DO, SO I LEFT HER ALONE AS SHE SAID SHE WOULD SEND IT OUT AS SOON AS SHE COULD, THE FIRST THING I RECEIVED WAS A DEBT COLLECTION, CALLED THEM THE VERY MINUTE I GOT THIS AND THE MANAGER INSISTED THAT THEY SENT IT OUT AND CALLED ME ON THE APRIL 23, WHICH I PULL UP (AS I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH HER) MY T-MOBILE PHONE RECORD FOR BOTH MINE AND MY BF PHONE, WHICH LOW AND BEHOLD NO PHONE CALL!!! YES, THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO CALL, I UNTERSTAND THAT, BUT IF YOUR GOING TO RUIN SOMEONE CREDIT LIKE THIS, YOU SHOULD MAKE SURE THAT A PERSON GETS THE INVOICE, YOU PROMISE TO GIVE THEM ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAD MADE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS WITH THEM, AND THAT YOU MAILED IT. OBVIOSLY, THE MANAGEMENT JUST PUSH ASIDE AND DOESNT CARE ABOUT THEIR TENENTS, WE NEW THAT FROM THE FIRST COUPLE OF MONTHS WE MOVED IN, I JUST DIDN'T THINK THEY WOULD STOOP SO LOW SO THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO DO ANYMORE WORK THEN THEY HAD TO. I've CALLED AND LEFT A MESSEGE WITH THE COMPANY THAT OWN THEM AND MAYBE SOME THIER CAN CARE ENOUGH TO CALL ME BACK. AND FIND A WAY TO RESOLVE THIS. I'M TIRED OF GETTING PUSHED AROUND LIKE THIS, BY PEOPLE IN THESE POSITIONS, WHO THINK THEY CAN DO WHAT THEY WANT TO PEOPLE !!!!!!!! IT'S DISGUISTING!!!! I THINKING IT'S TIME I TALK TO A LAWER, I KNOW A FEW POEPLE WHO WOULDN'T BACK DOWN FROM A CLASSACTION LAW SUIT AGAINST THIS COMPANY!!!!

We moved in two weeks ago and aboslutely love it. The staff is very nice and helpful. We have had a couple of maintanence issues. The staff was on top of making repairs. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!!!!!! BE WARE OF THESE APARTMENTS!!!!!! THEY NEVER MAKE ANY REPAIRS! THEY ARE MICE, MOLD, AND MILDEW INFESTED!!!! THEY ARE GROSS!!!!!!! I moved into The Oaks at St Andrews in March 8 2013, on March 10, 2013 I turned in my move in inspection sheet with the list of repairs that needed to be done which included the odor of pet urine, feces, mold and mildew (which was my BIGGEST concern)!!! They NEVER NOT ONE TIME came to fix anything in my apartment. I called them and made several trips over to the rent office to complain about the smell making me sick and the smell being SO STRONG that I was not able to stay there (I had to spend majority of my days residing there at a friends house due to the smell), THEY DID NOT CARE!!!! I asked them to move me to another unit which they would not do!!! The apartment was so bad with mold and mildew that when you walk through the door you instantly get a headache and start ITCHING!!!! They painted the tub with house paint. My patio door was covered in mold. My furniture (MY $4000 BEDROOM SUITE), clothes, and shoes was damage from the mold! It caused my grandbabies allergies to be so bad that he nose ran uncontrollably until it bleed!!! I lived there for 5 months in this UNSANITARY, NASTY, DIRTY apartment before I broke my lease and vacated! I called the Health Department (which came out and the apartment complex LIED to them and told them that they did not have a key to the apartment but came into my unit WITH THEIR KEY one week later)!!! There is FUNGUS growing all along the bricks outside my bedroom window and patio door. My carpet in front of my bedroom closet door stayed soak and wet. There was mold going up the walls, the closet door, and the carpet in my bedroom closet. The man living next door said his apartment is INFESTED with mold, mildew, and mice as well. He stated that he called and asked them to come and fix it and they told him that the maintenance guy was out of town and it would be about two weeks before they could come out but never came. As I was moving out, the lady upstairs was moving as well. She asked me why was I moving and I told her that my apartment was literally making my grand daughter and myself sick. She told me that was the reason she was moving as well. When I walked away from talking to her, a woman walked up to me and said "I just happened to overhear your conversation and can you tell me what all is wrong with your apartment because they are suppose to be transferring me to your apartment". How INCONSIDERATE would that be to transfer a tenant to an that they are aware of that is literally making PEOPLE sick!!! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR TENANTS!!! The hallways smell so AWFUL you have to cover your nose when entering and exiting. These apartments are an EMBARRASSMENT and so NASTY to the point where you can't even have company at your house!!! If you care about your health, reputation, belongings...DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!! I PROMISE IT IS VERY NASTY AND I WOULDN'T WISH THIS ON MY WORSE ENEMY!!! I only GAVE THEM A 1 STAR BECAUSE I HAD TO CHOSE AT LEAST ONE

Live here for 8 months and this by far the worst apts I have ever been in... For the price of $700 you get nothing.... But headace callin rent office for issues is a complete waist of time nothing will ever get done. Someone sneaks around in the middle of the night and write's vulgar messages on my door.heat bearly work,smoke alarm don't work,carpert filthy dirty,cabinets fallin apart,fridge broke, and u get traffic and & out of the door all hrs of the day/night.. And they have done nothing to fix or prevent any of these issues .this place is a joke don't move here this place rating should be - star but I had to give a star to write review. I cant wait to leave this place..

This place is the nastiest place I've ever live. I've never in my life had to pay 679 a month to live with roaches, mice and mold. I've lived here 4 months and its been hell since I've been here. When it rains you have to clear everything out because it comes into your apartment from the middle od the floor. I've got to replace some of my stuff where it has mold all over it because of it. There is mold in the carpets and it is a health concern. I would tell anyone I know and even people I dont know never move to The Oaks Of St Andrews you will regret it. I wouldnt even give it 1 star.

Don't move loud,old and not updated place falling apart! Better apartment for price in area! Hated this place fromm day one. glad to be moving!

This apt complex cost too much and is nasty.my friend lives here and posts close to 700 a month and I just seen a mouse in herplace.plus there pool rules are dumb.don't live here

This is the worst place I ever lived. My son and I spent 1.5 living here and I hated it from the first mintue. The only reason I stayed past my year lease was to close on my house. The first night I moved in, raoches crawled out of the air vents. It took my contacting a lawyers and withholding rent to get it cleared up. That was just my first two months there. Maintenance never answer emergency pages, and never responded prompty. One additional detail is the lack of care from the other residents. Often there was dog waste in the yards and sidewalks. Management did nothing noticable to discourage this activity. I would not recomend the Oaks at St Andrews to anyone. Period.

I've lived here for about 1.5 years. It's awful. Call for maintenance, wait a few days, call again, continue waiting. I finally called again, after around two months, & threatened them with "health" and "safety" for the tenants, & I swear to you, they were up here in 5 minutes to fix my problem. Their landscapers tore up the back of my fence, I could no longer let the dogs outside, without standing over them the entire time. It took them near 7 months to finally come and fix it, that is, after going through 3 different sets of management/maintenance, SO FAR. Currently, this set of management seems okay. Also, the water heater is shared between something like, 15 apartments, & changes from hot-cold the entire time you're bathing. I'd recommend a local shelter before I recommend The Oaks at St. Andrews.
