"My First Haircut Here, And Last". i walked in for a general trim, 2 women were the barbers that day and one called me to her chair, she threw a black and white cape over me and we talked about only giving me a trim - not cutting much off. she then wetted my hair down real good with a water spray, and for the next 10 min cut it with electric clippers and some snips with scizzors. then she did some grooming of stray facial hairs, ears and eye-brows that gave me a freshly groomed look. she decided to white-wall me around the ears - and did it with a zoom of the electric clippers, come on, if yo'ure going to whitewall a guy you should do him up right with using shaving cream and a real razor!! - as around the ears and back of neck needs to be precise and very even. unfortunately, the border around ears was way to high and uneven, this was careless use of clippers. the results were embarrassing for me - it looked funny. after that she used the clippers on the back of my neck, then cut and combed some more, and finished me off by prancing around the chair for the next several minutes as she spritzed me with some kind of fruity-sented hair lotion (which my girl-friend said smelled good) , then combed it up real neat looking. the haircut definitely had the spiffy, clean-cut look when finished except for the bad whitewalling. it ended up a lot shorter than what i had talked to her about also. the price was good - only 8 bucks for the cut. overall, some good parts and bad parts with the haircut, especially the bad white-walling, but i need to go to a shop that every step is 100% good. i will be hunting around for a place that knows more about how to do a guy up right. if you're planning on a haircut here, good luck with that!
