Larchmont Church Of God

a great church just got the wrong preacher in there he needs to get out of there.that church is in trouble with him leading it.I feel sorry for the people that goes there.

Larchmont is a growing church located one block from

Churchill Downs at the the corner of Larch. and Taylor blvd. The preaching is well taught and delivered by a pastor in his mid 30s who seems to have a heart for his subjects and a passion for teaching. The music is a blend of modern P&W with traditional. The soloist seem to complement the mixture with guest cello, violin, harp, piano,and electric guitar yet without being to classical or performer focused. The congregation is made up of a large group of diverse people such as quite a few older persons(50 to 80) a good group of middle aged adults(35 to 50) a growing group of young adults(20 to 35) and a vibrant group of children and teens(1-19). The focus appears to be on restoring unity to the body of belivers among all denomiational lines while growing in the grace and gospel of Jesus personally no matter your background(past, finances, race, prior religious or demonational background). They also have a good facility, family care, and strong radio ministry(WFIA AM 900 mon-fri 10:30pm).
