They lied to us multiple times and terriblely mishandled scheduling surgery for our toddler. Terrible experience.

I scheduled an appointment to see Dr Babcock after advising the office scheduler why I needed the appointment. The day of my appointment arrived and I signed in 15 minutes before my appointment. One person arrived 10 minutes later but was seen first by Dr Babcock. I didn't appreciate this but decided not to say anything. Dr babcock comes in the room and tells me that he doesn't treat what I came in for, he could refer me to another Dr. In town. He looked in my mouth and that was that. I was shocked when I received a bill for $130.00 after my insurance co. Was billed. I called the office and spoke with the office manager, she spoke with Babcock 2 weeks later and he reduced the bill by $10.00. He never performed a new patient as described on his own web site. I think it is unthical to bill for something that was not done.

Not a professional organization, no clear fees before service.

Very poor administration and no respect for clients time

I have been seeing doctors for 40+ years and this was the worst experience I have ever had. The doctor is GREAT. Jill the administrator should be let go. First we waited for 1.5 hours in the waiting room. Then Jill hands me a bill with a balance for $134. I ask for an explanation. She explains that my insurance company has a set price for what they are willing to pay. Jill explains that their prices are higher and they will write off the difference. I am wondering if the write off will be reported to the credit companies on my record. She also explains that we are over the $1,000 that my insurance company pays up to. I pay my bills. My company has an FSA account set up for us that covers health care. I did not know it covered dental so I used my American Express to cover the money. In talking with my wife I found out I can use the FSA card to cover these expenses. I call back to the office 5:15 pm to move the expenses to the FSA card. They are closed. I called back the next day at 8:30 to have Jill tell me she cannot refund my American Express card because she is only capable of doing a void on the same day as the transaction. I call American Express and they said Jill can refund to the card. I call Jill back and she refuses to refund the money to my card. After more bickering she offers to send a check. I ask for it to be sent today. She then explains that is has to go to another office, signed by other people and that it would take 3-5 business days. I expect this from my bank not my doctors office. The doctor spent time explaining my sons condition at length and exceeded my expectations on all subjects. The doctor is very competent. If we need these type of services I hope I can take my family back.
