        My favorite

        Among the many coffeehouse choices in the Highlands, this is my favorite. It's a friendly, welcoming spot that serves up well made expresso drinks, a dark and medium roast brew, and an excellent iced dark roast or hazelnut that stands up to the ice. They have a nice "bring your own cup" price and discounted refills for coffee. You can also get a few sandwiches, scones, muffins and desserts. Enjoy!

        Independent coffee shops are a must in Louisville. They are definitely part of the local flavor and culture. Starbucks has nothing on these shops.
