D & S Automotive Repair

This place was amazing. My wife and I own a Mini-Cooper. We had taken the car to the Mini-Dealership of Louisville for a simple back light replacement. There, Mini did a free inspection of the car. They brought out an estimate of $3000!!!

We took the Mini-Cooper to D&S. The two went over the estimate and literally tore it apart, showing us where the dealership was trying to overcharge us by 1000s. They literally did all the work for around $1000.

They saved us a ton of money, the car runs great, and they were very professional and time efficient. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. As someone who does not know a lot about auto repair, these guys were honest and amazing. I will be taking all my vehicles from here on out to them.

Went to this repair shop after no one could fix a heating problem on my 1999 Durango. D&S automotive was an answer to prayer. Turns out it needed a genuine thermostat instead of the one it had. Also gave me good advice for dependable used car. I highly recommend this repair shop.

My brake lights had gone out and I was so scared of the possibilities... fuses, switches, burnt out wiring! Turns out these guys are the best! They got me in the same day we called, found the only problem was a disconnected wire, and did not try to add anything else. In fact because it was a quick, easy fix for them they didn't even charge me for reconnecting the wire. They only asked for my future business! They have it, and I will be passing on the word about this great business anytime I hear someone needs an automotive repair.

i took my car for brake service after my dealership scared the sense out of me. the guy was honest and up front (my brake situation wasn't emergent or dangerous). the pricing was fair. they seem like good, honest people! i am totally pleased and can't see myself going anywhere else for future repairs!

Don't let the looks fool you. These guys were great. The work was done right. They completed it ahead of schedule. The price was great.



They underpromised and overdelivered. I appreciate their honesty when they called to give me the estimate. They told me the essential work that had to be done. I chose not to have one of the repairs they recommended (and to continue relying on my duct tape repair) and they adjusted the price without fuss.
