My experience at Belmar flower shop has been great. Amy was very helpful in arranging my daughters flower arrangement for her senior prom and it turned out looking perfect! The prices were very reasonable and I look forward to going back and visiting again!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I placed an order through FTD.com for a Mother's Day arrangement. I was guaranteed delivery on Sunday. I called my mother on Sunday night to ask how she liked her flowers and was informed that she hadn't received anything. So I called FTD and they said that the florist was unable to meet the holiday demand and that they guaranteed that my flowers would be delivered no later than Tuesday, two days AFTER Mother's Day. My mother calls me on Wednesday morning and informs me that when she got home from work Tuesday night, she had a message on her answering machine from Belmar asking if she would be available for delivery the following day. She told them not only would she not be available because she had to work, but that instead of delivering the flowers, they should refund me my money. The person my mother spoke with told her that I needed to call FTD for a refund. So I called FTD on Wednesday morning and spoke with a very helpful and contrite CSR. He put me on hold so that he could contact Belmar about my order. When he came back on the line, he told me that not only did Belmar claim that they had delivered the flowers on Monday, but that they were refusing to issue me a refund. This poor CSR had to get his manager to call Belmar, and they still refused to give me my money back. So FTD ended up refunding my money because Belmar refused to own up to their mistake. So not only did they rob my mother of her Mother's Day flowers after guaranteeing they would be delivered on time, they lied to her and to FTD in order to cover their a**es. Terrible, TERRIBLE customer service. They are to be avoided at all costs. I am all for supporting local businesses, but when they treat their customers and contractees with such disdain and disrespect just so they can make a profit, they don't deserve anyone's business.

Local business are what make the citys great, calling a call center that FTD runs or ordering your flowers online through FTD.com is not supporting your local business or city. Our hands are tied with what we can do when it comes to FTD Online orders. We filled all orders in a timely manner and when we get an order for delivery on a day when we aren't even open it isn't hard to refuse the order and send it back to FTD. In this instance the order shows back up to us on Monday, and we have no idea that this order was suppose to get delivered on a Sunday, as we got the Order from FTD on the following Monday. We can't refund customers money, becuase they didn't pay us, we are not owned by FTD, so blame who you want.. next time pickup the phone, call a LOCAL florst and talk to a LOCAL person who will be happy to take care of your order, and tell you when they can hand deliver it for you.
