Arella Bella Salon

I believe in giving a second chance. Well, I've given this salon 3 chances! The stylists have been corteous, helpful and very apologetic for the unprofessionalism of the salon's owner(s). 1.Never picked up the phone.2.Recording on voice machine is sooo long and "all over the place".3.Scheduling another appointmeent via e-mail is like pulling teeth; they reply but no suggestions of availability whatsoever. No one has ever!!! asked me if I wanted to schedule another appointment when I was right there, at the counter, paying for the service. And I kept forgetting to do it. 4.Since it was too much trouble to schedule an appointment, one morning I just walked-in hoping only to schedule it. No one was at the desk at shortly after 10 AM. A stylist asked if I needed help and politely suggested to call later as the owner/front desk person wasn't there and nobody else did the scheduling. Another stylist was free at the moment and seeing my hesitation suggested to cut my hair. When I was leaving waaay after 11 AM, wanted to pay with my debit card. But there was NO ONE at the front desk yet!!! And no one except the owner operates the card payment machine. 5.A conditioner (or was it a curl enhancer?) stank badly after a while.

You bet I will never go there again! And advise you not to either.

I had an appointment with a Stylist named Kara. She was very professional and curtious to my hair concerns and did exactly what I wanted and it looked FANTASTIC-even better than I expected! However, the other stylist beside her kept talking about her previous jobs and how her bosses were stealing her tip money! She claimed to have worked at Josephs for 9 yrs but after she finished her clients hair, it looked like she just got out of hair school herself! I will go back to see Kara-when the other girl is NOT there!

The hairdresser was very nice. The issues I had we're that before the cut we had established that I wanted my hair to be at chest length, so please explain to me why it ended up being chin length?? Also there was supposed to be a deep conditioning with my groupon that I never got. I didn't like that they didn't have their licenses displayed so not only did I not know my hairdressers name (because she never introduced herself) but I didn't know when or from where they went to beauty school. There were no prices or services listed or offered to me personally so I have no idea what else they offer or how much I would have paid if not for the grupon. I really hope I find a good hairdresser in this town someday.

Very conscientious and attentive to customer wants and needs. Will highly recommend to friends and family to visit salon.

I got my haircut yesterday by Melissa and she did a great job and everyone was very professional. They must be working harder on their customer service because I had no problems like the ones mentioned in previous reviews. And I plan on going back.

I just got my hair done a couple of days ago and I was referrald by my friend. The stylist are really profesional. The staff were great! I strongly recommend Arella Bella Salon to any body looking for a salon!

I really liked my hair cut and color. My stylist was Melissa Altman. She was very nice and I recommend to others and I will be back! Thanks Groupon! if it weren't for you I would of never known about Arella Bella Salon!

STAY AWAY!!!!

I get there and sign in and the lady at the front desk was talking to the stylist who was supposed to do my hair. She didn't show up and here they are having a phone conversation right in front of me and the lady at the front desk tells her it's not a big deal she was late. I then wait for over twenty minutes to get my hair done even though it's 9 in the morning and they just opened. Once I get my hair done I see the the front desk lady not answering phone calls because she's doing her hair, stylists doing their hair even though they have a client sitting right in front of them, and stylists gossiping with their clients. Stylists were wearing tennis shoes and flips flops and just looked so unprofessional. The actual salon was VERY dirty as well. Everything about this salon was terrible, no wonder why they have such good deals on Groupon.

I have been looking for a new salon and I made an appointment with this salon and when I arrived the receptionist was very rude. She said , " you don't have an appointment and come back tomorrow". I MADE an appointment and this is the time the salon gave me. Horrible service and I will not go back.

RUN!!!! Hello, Tabitha take over this salon! This place is so unprofessional! There is a reason they are always on Groupon. You pay for what you get. After buying a Groupon for this dump, I get my hair highlighted, which ends up costing $80, since the hairdresser lied about how many bowls of color she used on my hair, she said she didn't use bleach, but she did! Now I have highlights that are three different colors, after asking the Hairdresser to fix it, she replies, I don't believe in Toner. Oh so you don't believe in making your customers happy, because you can't produce beautiful hair! Do everone a favor and stop doing hair if you HATE it so much! Many, many heads of hair would be saved! You'd have better luck at a Fantastic Sams than this place!

I had picture to follow my hair style...i trust the hairdresser but it did not turn the same hair style in the picture and she cut my bangs so short...im so nice i still gave a tip but i am not satisfied!!!i should have a refund for this.

I am a very busy woman with a full time career. Been looking for a great salon to do my hair every 2 months and my brows waxed too. Got a groupon for this salon for a cut/style/and conditioner. It took me weeks to get my appointment and I arrive to my 2:00 appointment five minutes early and sign in. Right after I sign in another lady comes in and signs in behind me. I wait 20 minutes and a stylist comes around and takes the lady that signed in after me? Then she comes over and ask if I'm with the lady that she has taken back and I respond with a, no but I had a 2:00 appointment. This is 2:20 by the way and she says will people showed up late today and as soon as she gets done with the lady that she just took back she could get me on back. This would be in another 45minutes which would be 3:05. I do not mind waiting 20 minutes but not an hour and something! The stylist says that she can reschedule me another time and it's not her fault that people showed up late. I got my groupon back and will get a refund because I will not be back. Horrible place and not worth my time or money, and I always tip nicely too. Grrr bad experience!
