The Talpa is a Mexican Restaurant and Cantina that has been serving Real Mexican Food since 1964. Family owned and operated, its extensive menu features traditional favorites created from authentic time-tested recipes as well as newer original creations. From the chips, salsa and guacamole to soups, sauces and flan, everything is homemade. The full bar offers original no-mix Margaritas, other Talpa mixed drink specials, over 30 beers, 27 tequilas, and a selection of wines. Considered the most authentic restaurant in West Los Angeles, the friendly staff, hand-painted murals and intimate environment give it a cozy neighborhood feel. Many Talpa customers have made The Talpa their “to go” restaurant for decades.
