Quality Inn Near Hollywood Walk Of Fame

My husband and I stayed here in October 2014 with our 7 year old little girl for 3 nights, after driving 8 hours through the desert. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it had free underground parking which was an excellent bonus and it was gated and locked in the evening. The rooms were small but clean with everything you would need. The room did have air conditioning and a mini fridge. The maid came every day to change the sheets and clean the room, and the staff were very friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. Another excellent little bonus was free breakfast, which was enough to keep you going until lunchtime, they had all different varieties of cereals, toast, pancakes, yogurt and fruit. There is also a pool at the hotel. Location wise this hotel is perfect! a 5 minute walk from the Walk of Fame, Hollywood Boulevard. There are quite a few places to eat within walking distance from this hotel. Beverley Hills is also just a short drive away. There is also a coin Laundromat right across the road which we found useful. Great experience at this hotel and would definitely recommend!

Wanted a cheapish hotel in Hollywood for 2 nights to settle and adjust after flying over from Australia before driving to Vegas. Chose this hotel in Hollywood. Not too bad for the price, close to everything you need for a few days, room was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. Little bit noisy but expected in Hollywood. Would stay at again in the same situation.

Definitely a great place for the price! I stayed here over memorial day weekend (booked it b/c of all the reviews I read here). I really had no complaints whatsoever....the rooms were clean and spacious, the bathroom was very clean with an actual tub and not one of those nasty stalls. The room had a closet and a nice mini-fridge. The continental breakfast was in a separate room from the lobby and was also quite nice. The hot cinnamin buns were fabulous, but also cereal, bagels, fruit, all that stuff. Parking was free and plenty...the underground garage made me feel like my car was safe, although maneuvering the car down there was a bit challenging. Pool and grounds were clean.
And last but not least..friendly staff, good price and a GREAT location a couple blocks from Hollywood Blvd, walk of fame, wax museum, etc. We even walked down there past midnight and felt fine...there were lots of people around but mostly harmless club-goers.

Excellent location and Great priced hotel walking distance to Hollywood walk and restaurants with security parking staff helpful and pretty clean could do a bit of an upgraded I would stay there AGAIN.

Visiting from Ireland, I stayed for four nights with my wife and teenage son, and one extra night on my own. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere warm. A simple but quite generous breakfast buffet was included in the price, and the location is very convenient to stores and restaurants. Parking was no problem. We thought that it was a real find, especially at the price, and we were very comfortable. It was clean. As in many hotels, phone rates were VERY expensive but you can buy international call cards locally and use them for the price of a local call. The small central pool was pleasant, and the pool area tidy. Some noisy guests who persisted in using the pool in the middle of the night were kicked out of the hotel by management. The TV could do with more channels. The hotel is just around the corner from Hollywood Boulevard (with station for train to downtown), and within walking distance of the Hollywood Bowl (highly recommended, we would bring wine and a picnic next time as the locals do). I doubt if you would find a better hotel in LA at the price, and suspect that you could pay a lot more for much worse. That was our experience. It may not be yours! Just do not expect very fancy. If you want fancy then pay a lot more somewhere else. We prefer staying somewhere lively and real instead of out by the airport or in a strip of glass tower hotels. We took a day-long "LA Sightseeing" bus tour of the city and movie stars homes (----, at about $24 each) which collected from the hotel and was well-worth the price. It seemed preferable to a studio tour, as these are basically theme parks rather than real studios. But DO allow a day (10.45 to 19.00 for the collection and trip, not the six hours scheduled).

Chose this Hotel after driving round just looking. If you are looking for the Ritz this place is not for you but believe me I have stayed in many Budget Hotels (and some good ones) in America and the first thing I look for is the cleanliness of the beds and linen. It passed the test. Whilst the rooms are average everything worked and the shower was great. The Hotel is quite dated and the building old and a bit shabby but it was quite acceptable and very centrally located if you want to walk to the Walk of Fame etc. I am quite old now but did not find it a hard walk at all. Its quite close - maybe 10 minutes at a slow pace. There are lots of restaurants and some shopping nearby and it is quite nicely situated. The breakfast is basic of course but more than adequate - just the usual like cereal toast fruit waffles and danish with juice tea and coffee but perfectly OK. What made our stay enjoyable was the friendliness and helpfulness of the man at the reception - his name was something like Maya (maybe). Anyway he was very amiable and willing to please us and often enquired if we had everything we needed. He even arranged a late checkout at a reasonable cost for us on the night of our flight back to Australia. All in all a pleasant experience.

We stayed here for 5 nights and was very happy with my experience. Breaking down my points:
- safety and Family friendliness was a huge concern of mine, and this hotel soothed my concerns. It's very safe, no concerns about partying or shady customers. Actually most customers were also families.
- awesome location within 15 minutes walk to hollywood's attractions. Also we had everything we needed very close by, laundry, 7/11, great food truck and In and out burger.
- room was renovated, looks different from online pics. Clean, no issues with bed bugs, and was very well maintained daily. We were 4 people and never needed any extra towels. Room had Iron, microwave, fridge and TV. Blowdryer was not working properly.
- free breakfast: could be improved just a little bit, I suggest cream cheese and bagels. But otherwise it was en extra bonus, breakfast area was small but clean. There was one staff there, but she single handedly restocked everything, helped customers make their waffles snd made small talk.

At first we were a little unsure about the hotel, noisy!! But after speaking to the receptionist who reassured us the noise was from a car show on the street, the following night was fine. We did move rooms for the 3rd night as we'd already asked to move, This room was even quieter. Our only complaint would be the floors were unclean and breakfast wasn't great. But you get what you pay for! Cheap and cheerful!
Location fantastic

Highly recommend clean comfortable quiet hotel close to everything. Rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. Continental breakfast has a great variety of food. Easy walking distance to Hollywood Boulevard and the stars.

This a nice little hotel, conveniently located less than a couple of blocks from the starting point of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Check-in and check-out was very quick. We got upgraded to a suite, which was very nice. Parking underground is a bit tight but free. A few good eateries and fast food nearby.

Stayed here for 3nights in March. The room was a good size and clean. The guy at reception was very helpful and called us a cab one night when we going out. The breakfast was average but had quite a few things to choose from which was good. This hotel was in a great location, less than a 5 minute walk from hollywood boulevard. Also close to hollywood/highland station which is handy to go to universal studios.

Nice rooms. They have refrigerator and microwave too which is very helpful. The people at the reception are very helpful..its very conviniently located at walking distance from hollywood walk of fame. And the bus stop just like 1 block away from the hotel. Across the street from the hotel is laudramart and also a Lebanese food point which sells suprisingly delicious hummus and falafels. All in all great rooms, surrounding and location.

The hotel is only 5mins from Hollywood Blvd, so it was perfect for us, the hotel was great and the rooms have everything you need for your stay,including microwave an fridge. There was parking as well so no fuss when we arrived, the staff are very friendly and helpful, which made our stay perfect, we went on the usual tour to the hills, I suggest that you book on the Blvd as you can save a bit, free Wifi rounded it all off.

Rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels too.Breakfast consisted of cereals, toast, pastries and waffles . Fruit juice, coffee and toast available too.There was also fresh fruit and yoghurt.Just enough to start the day. A few more tables in the room would improve the dining.Pool great and towels provided poolside.Free parking a bonus and wifi was free and fast.Would definitely recommend.

We had the wheelchair access room for 2 adults and one child. When we arrived there was a bit of misunderstanding about how many beds we needed, and the room had been made up with just one king size bed. Jorge was quick to bring an extra bed and bedding in and while this made the large room quite tight space-wise, it was fine to accommodate our family for 2 nights. The bathroom was fine access-wise for our disabled family member. The breakfast was a hit with our 12 year old son, who loved the choice of muffins, waffles, cereals and toast for breakfast each day! The breakfast room is small so we took breakfast back to our room to eat which wasn't a problem as we were only 2 doors away on the same corridor.
Wheelchair access to our floor was via an open lift outside in the pool area. This was fine for the time we were there as it was 35 degrees every day, but could be a little inconvenient if it was raining. But it's great that there is lift access! They also have a hoist to lift disabled guests into and out of the pool which is a great bonus!
The front desk staff were really friendly and super helpful with booking our hollywood tour and shuttle back to the airport. We could leave our bags at reception on our last day after we checked out, and came back to use the pool later that afternoon before our shuttle back to the airport at 5pm. Towels were provided by the pool for guest use.
Location is great, staff are great, rooms fine - the only complaint we had was the air conditioning unit was very noisy but other than that, no problems at all. Some have said the area is a bit sketchy, but we had no problems, and there were families walking around at 9.30pm with no worries.

This hotel was really good for our purposes, which was seeing tourist sites around LA. We found went to tapings for AFV, Jeopardy, and The Big Bang Theory that were all within 30 minutes. It took about an hour to get to Disneyland. The neighbourhood was fine--typical of the Walk of Fame area, a bit sketchy but seemed safe enough. There was enough parking, but most of it was underground and very tight.

Otherwise, the room was clean and the staff were friendly and the front desk helped with things like printing tickets for a Warner Studio tour for us.

This hotel is in a great location of you want to visit Hollywood Blvd. We thought the hotel was clean, breakfast good, staff helpful, loved the pool, and good value for the money. Going back to La next month and I am going to stay here again.

Lovely clean hotel perfect location for santa monica beach universal and hollywood disney about 1hr 30 minutes drive. Breakfast is help ya self waffles cereal toast etc. Family run there all so lovely really friendly and all there staff. Kids lived it in the pool when we wasn't out and about. Had it too ourselves.

This was in a great location.
Staff helpful, polite and accommodating. Basic accommodation but served a purpose of a base and the room was clean wth good facilities. There is also a small pool which looked clean.
Breakfast also included and was really nice with clean facilities.
Would recommend if your just looking for a base in a central location.
(Also only 10 minutes from universal studios)

We choosed this hotel because we wanted to be near the Universal Studios and Hollywood and it's realy perfect!! We stayed there for 7 nights and booked 2 rooms! Everything was good! Breakfast is not wow but it's okey and you get what you need! If you don't like lits of oppurtnities in walking distance, even an IHOP! Rooms where clean and even the hotel is at La Brea it's quiet! The rooms where cleaned up by friendly people everyday. Pool / yard is very nice and there is a sitting area!! Beds are comfortable. We would def. stay there again!!
