Howlin' Ray's

After two years, I finally got around to coming to Howlin Rays. Thankfully, I went at an hour when the line wasn't terribly long, so I was able to get my food in 1 hour. What I noticed about this place is that though it is a long line, and jam packed inside the restaurant, everyone is in such a great mood and the staff is hospitable and helpful. No one is cranky, nervous, or panicked because of the workload.

I sampled a little of everything including the SANDO Chicken Sandwich, and the breast, wing, thigh, and leg. The stand out was the half quarter bird chicken with bone-in. This is something that you need to get here, because most other Nashville hot chicken places only serve the chicken tender strips and not the bone-in chicken. The skin was very crispy and flavorful, and the meat was succulent because it is organic chicken with superb brining. You can truly taste the difference it makes.

Would I wait in line for an hour again? Possibly. Was the food tasty? Definitely. By far, it is the best Nashville hot chicken I've tried in LA. I documented my food adventures here through my YouTube channel called Rockstar Eater, if any of you want to see what Howlin Ray's is like!

Seriously the best fried chicken sandwich I have where ingested. The wait was about an hr but worth every minute. Eating here is not just about the food it is an experience. The cooks love to talk to the guests crack jokes and sing alot to tunes played through the speaker. Good vibes. Good food and it felt like I met new friends. I didnt wanna leave lol.
