I had 16 flush walnut doors installed in our offices and waiting room last from year from ETO. They are absolutely beautiful.

ETO's: pros, cons, summary.



Pros:

- Internet price matching (with just about anyone!)

- Huge inventory of doors in stock

- Plenty of parking

- Will make custom doors for you on site

- Plenty of sales people

- Carry a variety of residential and commercial doors and hardware.



Cons:

- Pre-Hung Custom Units are Non-refundable.

- Waiting Times on the phone can take a couple of minutes



Summary:

Consider this the Walmart of Doors. The inventory here is truly huge and varied. I love wood shops so it is a joy every time I visit them. ETO's stocking program and machinery is aggressive and top of the line (the reason I keep coming back) and the staff seem to be professional most of the time.



I am a local contractor and live about 45 minutes from ETO. The only issue I had to date is trying to return a pre-hung door that my customer ordered wrong. Overall, I would recommend ETO. Most of the staff seems cordial and willing to make sure you get what you want and the pricing and lead times are unbeatable.

Having run the sales and marketing for several fortune 500 companies’, I also had customer service as part of my responsibility. In my experience, I found the core principle upon which a customer service system is built is the customer and relying solely on a Customer Relationship Management Program. Second, the acknowledgement and appreciation of the relationship is important by listening to the feedback, demands, and understanding of the nuances of the customer’s problem. Finally, it’s important to manage interactions and be available to the customer.



It is for this reason, I am writing to let everyone know about Paula, Customer Service Specialist/Claims Representative at ETO. Paula has demonstrated all of these qualities in dealing with a recent installation problem I had with one of the three doors, in my new home.



Paula has a positive attitude, attention to detail, follow up and communication skills that were focused on my needs by thoroughly understanding the problem. She then took the required action to solve my issue, and I should add this was accomplished within days. Her action will inevitably come back to ETO in an equally positive way now and in the future. When you put the right staff in place, you set the proper foundation for customer relations success. I recommend ETO for standing behind its product, warranty and its customer service program as Paula demonstrated.

We combined our ETO door with an 1880 horse drawn carriage part that I found at an antique center. Adapted it as a handle. My contractor asked me if I paid $6,000 for the door. Needless to say I gave him ETO's web-site. Thanks again ETO for the show piece of my wine cellar

We got three estimates for supplying glass doors in our home. ETO's bid was significantly lower than the other bids and what really impressed me was Chris' knowledge. This guy knows doors. Chris made sure everything turned out perfectly and on time. Chris was a pleasure to deal with and the entire ETO staff did an excellent job helping us out. We are very pleased with the outcome and will use them again.

Excellent service by ETO Garage Doors. I am very happy about the sales person, Mei and her knowledge and expertise in answering all of my questions. She followed up with me at every step of the process to make sure everything went as scheduled. I just brought the 1 lite Aluminum Entry Door for my home at ETO Doors. The Aluminum Door complemented the modern look of my home better than I expected. I really would like to take my time to say thanks ETO Doors for a wonderful job.

THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD. ETO Doors is awful. We paid over $3000 up front and were told that it would be 3 weeks (at most) for them to be done. Well, it is nearly 11 weeks later, and we still haven't seen them. Leigh, one of the "managers" made countless promises, and never followed through with any. We should have canceled the order when Leigh called me after 2.5 weeks of holding my money, and said that he had misquoted the job and that they needed to charge more. I refused, and so started the months of delays, lies and excuses. I would never buy anything from these jokers again.



I remodel homes for a living, this put my client in a state of limbo for over 2 extra months. If you want to delay your construction job, not trust your vendors and be lied to on every communication, give them a call. They are the worst, I have never had such an awful experience in my life. THE WORST.

My garage door looks great! I cannot believe how quickly it was done. . My neighbor across the road would like the same one for her house. I’ve told her where to get one… ETO! Thank you Mei!

Buying from ETO Doors was my first time buying doors online ever. I was skeptical at the time, but the staff at ETO Doors assured me that they would make this the best online experience possible. I must say they really held up to their word. When the door arrived it was wrapped and packaged like nothing I've ever seen. When my husband and I unwrapped the door it was perfect! It had no dings or scratches whatsoever. Once we finally installed the door I was in awe. I wanted to tell the World about ETO Doors and their amazing company. I would advise anyone who have doubts about buying doors online to go and purchase a door from ETO Doors first. I went to them because on their website it states "Over 1 Million Doors Sold," and now I understand why. I purchased the RM1 Mahogany Door for my wine cellar and boy does it looks amazing! Over the past 2 years, we've replaced 16 doors total using doors from ETO. Six of the doors were exterior mahogany doors and ten were interior paint grade doors. We bought the exterior doors for the patio doors of our 1944 craftsman style house, and the paint grade doors for bedrooms, restrooms and other connecting openings. The exterior patio doors are beautiful. When we purchased our house, we loved the original wood doors and were considering not replacing them, however many of the original doors in the house were falling apart. We were worried about losing the authentic look of our house, but the new doors compliment our exterior perfectly.

The interior paint grade doors are fine too. We painted them black and they are very similar to other paint grade doors in the market. One of the interior doors was 1" too long for our opening, but our contractor was able to make it work after a little adjusting.



Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

I got the Moderno Door from ETO hung yesterday. They even sent me extra wood samples to experiment with stains. The door looks great…. Very good quality. I’m very pleased.

ETO sent me a replacement trim piece today - Thanks!!! I wanted to thank ETO so much for their efforts to make this right. I ran my own business for over 20 years and tried to impress on my employees that there would always be mistakes. No matter how hard you try, there will be things that go wrong. The key to your customer's satisfaction is in how you deal with the problems. Always let the customer know that you understand how inconvenient it is for them, and how sorry you are that the claim occurred, but that you are going to make it right no matter what. The situation actually presents an opportunity to show how good your customer service and follow up really is. A customer who went through a successfully resolved problem often could become your biggest advocate. It's certainly the case in this instance - both Anthony and Paula stuck with me until we achieved a successful resolution. I will not hesitate to recommend ETO Doors.
