I’ve been riding for many years, and gone to many places for service, some where good, some bad. I’ve had Jake service my bike for over eight years, and keep coming back because he does good work. He’s always been honest, and never steered me wrong. I always recommend him to other riders because of the quality of his work. He’s old school quality, not new flim flam. He knows his bikes.

Horrible professionals, I cannot stress enough how you should stay away from this place. Jay the owner is a true scammer and lacks honesty, care or common sense. I consider bringing my bike here one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. He will lie to you, try to charge you extra and not deliver on time or appropriately. Please do NOT trust them. I wrote a full length account of my experience in Yelp, in case anyone wants to know more.

Surprisingly, J, the owner, is a thief and a scammer. I recently put a down payment on a motorcycle that I planned to buy from him. He told me he was waiting for one last part to come in ( a replacement wiring harness ) and as soon as he installed it, he would let me know and I could come and pick it up. He told me it would be "a couple of days." He wrote out a receipt with his company's receipt paper, which contained their logo and information, and we parted ways.



4 days later, I call J and he said "a couple more days" repeatedly and when I pressed for more information, he would go on about how busy he was and push me off the phone. He seemed like a genuine good guy and I truly thought I could trust him, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Fast forward 5 more days (now 10 days since I put the deposit on the bike), I call him again. At 10:30AM on a Saturday, he mentions that "he just woke up" and was heading into the shop now and would call me as soon as he got in with an update." No word from him all day.



At 3PM, I try again at both his shop phone and his cell phone. No answer. I've since tried calling everyday on both phone lines I know and he has refused to answer. I've noticed that the time it takes to be sent to voicemail when I call his cell has declined. This indicates that he is now 'rejecting' my calls. It's been 16 days since I put my deposit on the bike and now 6 days since I've spoken with J. Never once did J initiate contact.



I cannot, under any circumstance, recommend working with J. He has taken advantage of me. Beware, he must be a great actor because I wholeheartedly believed he was a good-guy. He is neither a respectable nor an honest person.



STAY AWAY!!!

J, if you read this, I understand if things take longer than estimated. I honestly and truly believed you were a stand-up guy. Other reviewers here and our interaction led me to feel that way. However, you have proved that you are NOT honest and have stolen from me. Again, I understand if plans don't work out but please let me know and return my deposit.I truly do not understand. Every review I read speaks so highly of you and your operation. The only thing I can fathom is that perhaps you found someone willing to pay more for the bike and you chose to forget my deposit and sell it to that person and then decided to just keep my deposit as well. If this is the case, or there has been any other extenuating circumstances, I _will_ understand, just please give me my deposit back. I will rescind my negative review, of course.
