Whistlestop B&B

My wife and I just spent our anniversary at the Whistlestop Bed and Breakfast. Mike and Sherry were very hospitiable and they take pride in their home. Immediatly after arriving we were ready to go on a hike and of course our car wouldn't start. Mike's son was there to give us a jump and directions to the local auto zone. Mike also left a battery charger out for us to use if they weren't home and it happened again. They even gave us their cell phones numbers in case we were stuck somewhere. I can't say how much we appreciated it.



The room is very spacious and clean. Sherry's homemade bakery was outstanding and the kitchenette was so well stocked we didn't pay for many meals other than dinner while visiting. The property is secluded and very quiet. Although the pool table and fireplace were probably my favorite part.



The best part is the rates are less than the local Holiday Inn and the experience was so much better than a chain hotel. If you're in the Hocking Hills area you have to stay here. You won't regret it!
