Dr. Dutta has been my physician for the last 15 years. He delivered my two children and took care of my many gynecological problems. Three weeks ago, I felt a breast lump and was extremely worried, I could get in touch with him within one minute and he gave me an appointment within an hour. He even called the diagnostic center so that I can get the earliest appointment for a mammography and ultrasound of the breast. I always felt comfortable with him as he always understands the nervousness and anxiety of the patient.

Kamal Dutta MD attended R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital, Calcutta where he earned his undergraduate and medical degrees. He finished most of his residency training in New York. He completed 2 years of general surgery and 3 years of gynecological training. He served as Chief Resident Dept of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mt Vernon Hospital, New York which is under New York Medical College.
Minimally Invasive Surgery

When I made my first visit I was impressed. He gave me all the time in the world. He did a physical examination and laid out all the options. He never talked about a hysterectomy which other doctors had. He described a procedure called endometrial ablation which would decrease the periods and heavy bleeding. The following week I had the same day surgery procedure of endometrial ablation at Hackensack University Medical Center. I completely got rid of the excessive bleeding.
Endometrial Ablation
In-office procedures include endometrial biopsy, colposcopy, leep electrosurgical excision procdure, cryosurgery, endometrial ablation, incision-free hysteroscopic tubal ligation (Essure), Interstim Therapy for urinary control and dilation and curettage. Procedures such as advanced laparoscopy, hysterectomy and vulvar and vaginal restorative and reconstructive procedures are performed at Hackensack University Medical Center and Advanced Surgery Center of Clifton.

Laparoscopy – A video camera inserted through the naval or a small incision in the lower abdomen produces images of the abdominal area.

Physical Therapy: consists of pelvic muscle exercises such as Kegels, biofeedback, electrical stimulation and bladder training drills. 50% of those with stress incontinence and 40% of those with overactive bladder show improvement.
