Rosedale Cleaners

My Dad had his suits cleaned there for 30 yrs & I remember the Guy Jeff doing the Remodeling in 1985 ( the year I Graduated) was so Impressive. He was a Perfectionist and Sparked my Interest to get into the A/C business.
It was like the First Drycleaners to have A/C in the day which was a Big Deal & other Drycleaners close by started to Remodel also to keep up with the modern image. The Guy would talk to me at length & encourage me to try to fix things around the house for my ageing Dad since I was Always picking-up & Dropping-off clothes for me& my family.
I specifically remember him telling me that the Building of the Counters that Mirrored the New Drop Ceiling Soffit that Concealed the New Ductwork for A/C which I thought was a very Cool Idea he conceived himself.
I recall he showed me the new Power tools he bought to do the Formica Countertops was the best money could buy. He said that it would be his first time attempting Formica and now looking back he was a Gutsey Guy that was so excited to be doing his first Big Job, well over 30 yrs later the Countertops we're so well made that the employees actually wore through the Burgundy Color & Showed the Brown core where Daily Abuse & Dragging Clothes accross them but I never Noticed a Crack or Chip anywhere. Contrary to The New apartments & 1st home I lived in having delamination & chipping edges.
Oh here is a pic I took of his completed job in 85 & this is how I remembered his name.
Then he also Re- Roofed the new store area & used a Modern Type of white Rubber that I recall Jack K. Said lasted more than 30 yrs without leaks...woa!!! I Thought No Way but true. Then he told me the guy moved to The Florida Keys & was Building Restraunts....jealous!!!
A peice of Neighborhood History Going Away.

Rosedale is the only cleaners I trust with my suits and difficult stains. They are very conscientious and have the clothes ready when promised.
