Betty's Restaurant

I live in San Francisco, and have access to many wonderful restaurants in the Mission District. I travel to Chico often to visit my brother, and I have for years looked forward to dining at Betty''s Mexican restaurant. It is an oasis for sumptuous Mexican food, and a welcomed stop for a weary highway traveler. I feel fortunate that they are still there after so many years, and I am thankful that they haven't disappeared like so manyfine eateries. I have my fingers crossed and hope that they will be around for many more years of satisfying dining. Mexican food is my favorite. And Betty's authentic mexican restaurant pulled through for me. If you like those off the road sort of mexican restaurants that serve better food then the ones that you would find on the main roads then Betty's is the place for you. Sadly though my favorite mexican restaurant of all, chevy's, is like an hour from wear I live but still for a local place they serve some excellent mexican food.There chips, although not freshly made are still better than most chips I've tasted. There salsa is also very good.There not the best on the planet persay but they sure do the trick. There not too chunky or too runny like other places there just right as my friend goldie-locks would say.There tourtillas are alright too. There not freshly made( Which in many ways tastes much better then store bought) But they are handy with a plate of beans and rice. My only problem with the tourtillas is the fact that they charge you 25 cents per tourtilla. Not bad but still inconvinient
