Crawford Appliance

I have a home warranty service and every time I need an appliance repair they used to send someone who didn't know what they are doing to my house. Once I discovered Crawford Appliance, they are the people I request. Sure, the home warranty people decided they could get a part cheaper and ordered it themselves delaying one repair, but other than that time, Crawford did the work and told me how long it would take and they cleaned up after themselves in a professional manner. Sandy kept us informed about any parts on order and was always professional and courteous. They have repaired three of our refrigerators, our dishwasher, our washer and our dryer. We had to call them today about a refrigerator and it all worked out fine.

They talk the talk, but by no means can they walk the walk…..or even crawl for that matter…

Imagine for a moment that an appliance of absolute importance to you and your family failed. Imagine now that you have a home warranty agency and that upon calling them they send out Crawford Appliance. To make this an even more colorful image, this also wasn’t the first repair contractor to look at this appliance. In fact this would be the second one!

After a long conversation with my Home Warranty agency who informed me of all the things my policy covers and the very “simple” process, I called Sandy at Crawford to schedule what would turn out to be a month and a half long ordeal…

Sandy ensured me that they would treat me with absolute respect and that their technician can fix just about anything. Well during this call I confirmed that they were familiar with the model number and type of appliance, (the previous repair company, had no experience with said model). So we started the process of getting it fixed, at least that’s what I thought...

Months later and after multiple visits, it was clear that with all the parts they replaced and time they invested, they simply had no idea as to why it wasn’t working. Calling Sandy, my thought was for sure if these guys couldn’t figure it out who could… so she canceled the work order and reported to my warranty agency they had no idea on the problem and that in fact they could not fix this very common appliance…..

So if you’re looking for a repair company that’s familiar with everyday products and appliances you can pick up at Lowes Home Improvement, these are not your allies. At this point, in my opinion, the only appliance they could fix would be a toaster…
