Rock City Dance Center Inc

Rock City Dance Center has been the best thing that has happened to my child. She has grown as a dancer SO much this year that it literally brings me to tears. I love having a staff that cares about her personally and professionally. The teachers are phenomenal and are fantastic role models for her--not to mention that they are all so positive that she LOVES being in the studio and doesn't ever want to leave. :)



I am not sure what this parent is talking about (on 4/2011) because there have never been any hidden fees. The communication at RCDC is unlike anything I have ever seen at other studios! We always know about costs coming up (and yes, it is common practice to have recital fees to cover facility rental, lighting, etc... as well as NOT being able to take pictures during recital. It is not because the owners are money-hungry...It is an agreement they must make with the company that makes the videos. Take all the pics you want during dress rehearsal. That is how it is all over town. )



Overall, the things that I love best about RCDC are the dance technique/choreography (did I mention the teachers have won MULTIPLE awards in its FIRST year for choreography??) and it's organization. Seriously...unlike anything we've seen before.



If you are looking for a studio that is growing and up on the latest dance styles...come to Rock City and prepare to be amazed!!

I cannot say enough GREAT THINGS about this studio. What a wonderful studio, staff, and not to mention the amazing dancers at this place. I believe this past year (first year in business) should speak for itself. RCDC Company won numerous awards at both state and regional competitions. 1st place awards were awarded to many dancers in solos, duets, and group dances at EVERY competition entered. What amazing talents at this studio!!! This will be a studio to watch in the coming years....amazing talent!!! The studio owner loves her kids and it shows through their abilities!!!! If you are looking for a place to enroll your child I HIGHLY reccomend Rock City Dance Center!!! You will NOT be sorrry!!!!

I don't know who would write that last review on 4/21 but it has to be someone who wants to see this wonderful place hurt. Rock City has brought nothing but happiness and fairness to all that walk through the doors. They will rise above the hateful and mean people in this world and continue forward. Everyone needs to know that not only is this place a positive environment for all dancers, but the owner is wondering how we will all fit next year and may have to look for a bigger place soon because she cannot contain all that are coming in only the second year as a studio! I encourage all to check it out for themselves by visiting and observing with their own eyes and not just read what mean people said in finding a way to try to hurt others. One thing about this studio is that everything relating to this studio is transparent online. There are NO hidden facts or truths. This is not the case for all other studios. I encourage you to look that the other studio sites and see if they offer the same updated information as this one. The truth will win in the end! God continue to bless this wonderful person and studio.

Please do not enroll your sweet child in to this class unless you are prepared to get riped out of your hard earned money. Since the day my daughter started here they wanted money for everything. They are way over priced on every thing, my husband and i have decided that this is not the place where my daughter will be doing her future dancing. If it was not for my daughter enjoying danceing and the semester coming to an end i would not be continuing to take my daughter to this place. This is the very first year that my daughter has ever danced. She just turned four years old. They told us that they would be collecting 75.00 for her recital costume and then they were going to be collecting another 75.00 for the recital fee. I am guessing that this is for the building fee. But i think 75.00 per kid is just a little much. if every kid has to pay 75.00 somebody is making a huge profit some where. Plus we recieved her recital costume today. I'm realling thinking this is going to be an awesome looking costume. well i could not be more wrong. My daughters dance recital costume was homemade, yes! HOMEMADE COSTUME. They sewed is some tages to make it look store bought but when i went to try this on my daugher there was a pin still in it. Thank goodness this did not poke my daughter. but im thinking to myself really. Then they want to charge us 45.00 for a copy dvd of my daughter danceing. I think not. They also told us we were not allowed to take any picture during recital or dress rehearsel. I have had enough of this place. Its one thing to be in a business where you make money, but its another thing for some one to just totaly rip you off and thats what they are doing at ROCK CITY DANCE CENTER.

This is a new studio opening summer of 2010 in Little Rock, Arkansas. I know the owner and she has an experienced, but young and energetic staff. Very nice facilities. Check them out at www.rockcitydance.com
