Owens Murphy Volkswagen

There is nothing easier than to leave a negative review, but I would like to argue my point of view. It's true that they are are quite slow at Owens Murphy Volkswagen and I won't probably ask for their help again, but the imperfections with the starting function of my car, ( I knew about them when buying it on repokar com, but hoped it can wait a bit), were well fixed, so I chose 3 of the 5 rating stars for them.

Horrible experience and the GM (Lee) could care less!!!

I took my car in for a recall issue (at 8am) and the never called me to say it was done. I had to call them to get my car at 6:30pm. When I (had to get my own ride back) got there they had fixed what they said was a whole in my tire and wanted $26.00 before I got my car. I felt like I was being robbed. It wasn't the amount as much as it was they did it without my permission. I have my own tire plug kit at home!! It wasn't until I was 2 miles down the road did the man (Ramey is his name I think) did he call me and try to offer me my money back! I told him he could use that cash for TP for all I care!! It was the principal! THEN... I called the following week (trying to give myself cool-off time) and spoke with the GM Lee..wow... the jerks must be hired by the dozen at this place! I know car salesmen who are not like this but this group gives them ALL a bad rap!!! From now on I will drive all the way to NLR to get serviced when I live and work less than 2 miles from Owens!!! Wonder what the guys with their names on the sign think???

Great place to do Business !! Great Staff , Selection / Parts / Service. Call them FIRST after a COLLISION !! Your insurance Company does not Know your car is Unique. "Certified" Jaguar Land Rover and Range Rover Aluminum Auto Body / Collision repair. Maintain your Original Factory Corrosion Protection , Driveability and Warranty.

I just wanted to say I had a really good experience here the staff is too notch very pleased with our car aswell.

What a great car-buying experience. I found a beautiful used car for my wife, told them what I was willing to pay, which really wasn't much less than the sticker price. I also asked for a few minor imperfections to be fixed. They didn't try to haggle, "let me get the boss to see if it's ok...". The salesman was empowered to make the deal.



This is the kind of auto experience I like and appreciate. The building is beautiful, with a little cafe. Very nice waiting area, and a very nice ambiance. The service was great, the people were great, and most of all the car is great, at a very fair price.



I'll come to Owens Murphy again, and I would tell others to check them out. They have some very nice cars (Land Rover; Jaguar; Volkswagen Dealers). I really liked their pre-owned inventory. Very good selection.
