Legacy Hotel & Suites

The employee at the front desk was nice. We got up to the room and oh heck no'ed right off the bat. My husband joked that I was high-maintenance and so I was trying to tough it out. We have a 10 month old, and a 3 year old. We searched for bed bugs at first and didn't find any. The mattresses are what you would find at a walmart. Just springs and cardboard.. Then you walk over to the windows. I noticed blood splattered on the curtains, and then yelled to my husband and 3 year old not to touch ANYTHING! The cable tv was fuzzy, the "high speed internet" didn't work, the carpet was dirty, the shower cap and shampoo bottles were dirty like they were reused, the bathtub had hairs in it, and the ceilings had leaks. The AC did NOT work and we were sweating profusely. I noticed another review the business said this guy never checked in but I assure you that everything he mentioned was spot on. The elevator was also so scary that we took the stairs after our first ride! We stayed in room 210.

I absolutely love this hotel! The Employees are amazing and they make you feel so at home! If they dont have something, (ex: shampoo, toothbrush, etc.) they will find it for you! I feel like Ive been here a million times already and its only our 2nd time to stay here, and I can't wait to have my 3rd!! It is located downtown, u just have to walk, part of sight seeing in my opinion plus you probably shouldnt drink and drive anyway! :) I have stayed here 2 times now with my son, 2 day mini vacations we like to call them! :) As far as cosmetics, the outside is very vintage and its beautiful, some rooms have a balcony which is absolutely a gorgeous sight! We have a flat screen tv, works great, bathroom appearance is always kept up, microwave, fridge, ac/heat, electricity, wifi.....ALL A+s for me! Ive never had a problem with anything here!! My son and I absolutely adore it!! <3

1.Was told room would have microwave and frig upon check in the microwave was not in room frig was hot may not have even worked at all one phone out of two worked,wires and plugs were hanging out all in room very unsafe with lil ones.lock boxs in room did not work,once we called desk about microwave a worker came up with one and told us stuff is take there all the time we thought that was very odd.They said it was walking distance to river market its 5 blocks with folk out one wounldnt want to get lost around.rooms are very small, bed lining was nasty looking with a safety pin holding bed skirt up.if you are on 5 floor you have to go down to 4 and3 to get ice and drinks.food is very high 9bucks for a burger.The air did not work right had to turn down to 50 to get it to 70 in room.Rooms arent what they say they are on line dont be fooled by the web page and lose 100 buck here.we did leave 30 min, after checking in this place felt Very uncomfortable........ Very few places to eat around near hotel must drive out not good for folks from out of town... 05/09
