Kobe Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

The food is okay. The sushi is better. We think it's highway robbery to charge $2.50 to change steam rice to fried rice. rice is so cheap to begin with and we were paying $19.50 for the steak & shrimp meal pre tax. and the same surcharge for fried rice for the kid's meals. consider going elsewhere, like AW lins or Samurai Japanese steakhouse. ..You'll get way more food that's better quality and it's the same whether you prefer steamed or fried rice.

How can a sushi restaurant in this area be so horrible? I just don't know. I'm very skeptical about sushi bars, and I eat out A LOT because I travel so much, so I know how to compare experiences. In my opinion, this place is really not a place to go to enjoy food, service or ambiance. There are plenty of places to eat where the owners and staff take pride in what they do, and where they work, and how they serve customers.



This place makes McDonald's seem appealing.



I pick one or two sushi bars in every city I go to (provided they have at least one good one). This one looks good, but doesn't perform.



Go to Igibon or Kan-Pai to compare.

If you can get over sitting with strangers, you'll find the food here is very good. I like the filet mignon and chicken combo. LOVE the fried rice!
