Comet Cleaners

This cleaners lost 4 pair of my dress pants. Also, I am missing a jacket I had taken there, realized yesterday. I have been using this cleaners for almost a year. Never had to worry about my clothes until this happened. I spoke to 3 people there about this and the third person was the owner that was rude and basically told me "the case is closed" when I asked him if they were going to reimburse me for these missing pants -$160.00. He said he had never had a problem in the 22 years and had 99.99999% been correct. I told him he was not correct and that they have my pants! He basically was calling me a liar! That $160.00 is ending up costing him $1000's of dollars in business, since I was a regular customer that used this cleaners frequently. Found out when I picked up my last order, that when the owner said they count the clothes before they leave the store - was NOT true. He checked the video of the girl handing me my order and she did NOT count it! An employee told me !

I once brought a white blouse there because I wanted it neat and ironed for a special occasion. It didn't have any stains on it. When I got it, there was a black, greasy stain on it. If it had been there before I brought it, the stain would have been black, but not greasy anymore. So it must have gotten onto my blouse in the shop, probably from one of the machines they use. They wouldn't take on any responsibility. Don't go there!!!
