Ocean Granite & Marble

Not the best experience. Delay upon delay. Too many seams on my counter top. Sink was suppose to be larger. I paid for a larger one but then was told it would not fit. They were suppose to just replace the countertop. But I feel that when they pulled out the old countertop they damaged my cabinets. Therefore I had to get new cabinets. When the new cabinets were installed less granite was needed but they didn't reduce my price. Nice people but a job that was going to take one week ended up being 9 weeks with no kitchen.

Ocean Granite and Marble installed granite in my kitchen and it is perfect. Everything about working with this business is top notch. I love that they are a locally owned and family run business. The owner is always available to answer questions and takes great pride in his work. I loved that his mother, Jill and brother Matt work their also. It is a true family run shop. Great job to Ocean Granite and Marble. When I am ready to upgrade my bathrooms they will be my first and only call.

Scheduling the measuring which was at their convenience, we could not be there so we had our general contractor meet them at the house. When the countertop was installed it was too long on one side where a door was butting up to the counter and cabinets the countertop would have encroached in the door molding. 3 sides of the counter top did not fully cover the base cabinets. And the sink was in off center. the owner to look at it, he told my husband that the countertop had been measured to have a standard overhang we should have told him that there was molding going to be on the door, just cut the door molding. He told us he would fix it When they finally came, I heard the installer say he was not going to take it out he is going to cut it here. there was curve of at least a 1/8 inch in the center. The general contractor fixed the bow 3 weeks ago and as of to date ocean granite has not come to polish it as they agreed to do with the general contractor.
