Palmer & Sons Refuse

l sold my house in Cheney NE and had Palmer & Sons remove my trash for 38 years and NEVER had anything but excellent service. I never experienced a time in which my calls were not returned. Some people just can't be pleased. Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Don't listen to the naysayers. I moved to Lincoln 2.5 half years ago, when I saw the cost of garbage/recycling in NE I was a bit taken aback, back in WA I was paying $12 a month for garbage/recycling and it almost doubled when I moved to Lincoln. We payed $22 a month for a year and a half for just garbage, no recycling included (it's hard to get recycling here in Lincoln and will run you an extra $7-$10 a month when the companies do decide to offer it). When a local competitor came in and tried to undercut them, they happily price matched. I've talked to a bunch of companies in the last 2 hours, at least a dozen, at I can wholeheartedly say that their employees are professional, knowledgeable and courteous, especially when compared to some of the others. Two people seemed annoyed for me taking up their important work time and another had to put me on hold for a couple minutes while she asked her boss whether they delivered to our area. Not huge, but it seems like something you should know being the person in the office who answers the phone. If you want the most bang for your buck, go Palmer.

Our trash service has been provided by Palmer & Sons for years. I don't recall having any problems with them. In fact, I have called and emailed compliments and thank yous. I've had no problems with pick up or with customer service. The guys are neat and never leave a mess. After pickup, they position the cans so that I know it's been picked up. I signed up with another company once due to cost difference, and I cancelled within 3 days because I was so satisfied with Palmer & Sons.

These guys forget to pick up grass clippings and leaves almost every week. They won't answer calls and won't call back. Absolutely the worst service I've experienced. Go with almost any other company.

Customer service is poor as no one answers calls or returns voicemails left over a 3 week period. This has been a complete headache dealing with this company and I have asked to speak with the owner multiple times but apparently the customer is not valued in this business.
