Proper dental care can make a world of difference in horses being ridden with a bit in their mouth. Chiropractic adjustments can keep the joints moving. Acupuncture will allow the nerves to function properly. Properly applied medications can help to minimize lameness. If problems do occur, we utilize digital xrays, digital ultrasound, medications and rehab to help get your equine athlete back to work.

Comprehensive Examination
Hillcrest offers a wide variety of services for all horses, including performance horses, pleasure horses, foals, and retirees. We offer full service veterinary care including annual vaccines, dentistry, wellness exams, xrays, ultrasound, endoscopy (scoping throats and stomachs), chiropractic adjustments and much more.

Hillcrest Animal Clinic is a full service equine and small animal veterinary clinic, located in Lincoln, Nebraska. We provide comprehensive canine and equine veterinary care, advanced reproductive services, orthopedic surgery, chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture and herbal therapies.

Equine Vet
Hillcrest is also proud to offer Equine Veterinary care. Our facility is just a few minutes off of Interstate 80 North of Lincoln. We are easy to access with your horse trailers and our location and facilities are ideal for our equine patients. We have two indoor temperature controlled equine exam rooms, two temp controlled medicine stalls that we use for surgery and sick patients,12 stalls in the barn and an indoor lameness area. We offer veterinary care for the entire life of your horse. A few of those services include Reproductive care (Board certified repro specialist on staff), Chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, Lameness and performance care, digital radiographs, ultrasound and surgery.
