CVS Pharmacy

Pros: Little to no lines. There is one pharmacist (don't know his name) that is really great. Cons: The clerk is the weakest link. He calls and doesn't say who he is calling for. Just states some orders for you came in and we have to order some of them and hangs up. They have to order a lot of RXs. Very low stock. One time they left one of RX in a basket some where in the pharmacy from the night before until the afternoon. My bf had to make two trips to get everything. Bottom line: If you only need the pharmacy occasionally or for just one RX a month, they are probably just fine. If you have a chronic illness, they aren't a dependable part of your healthcare team. Try CVS in spite of the long lines. Well stocked on normal medicines and very efficient. If Walgreens takes your insurance, they never have a line, so maybe check them out. I bet Raley's doesn't have a long line either. Safeway the store is such a mad house I didn't check out the pharmacy.
