Killian Hill Animal Hospital

This dog was referred to a specialist after failing to improve. A board certified internist performed an ultrasound which showed a possible foreign object. The owners elected surgery the next day. A board certified surgeon performed the surgery, the dog recovered and went home. Unfortunately, she had a complication and later died.

We have been using Killian Hill Animal Hospital for 16 years with little to no complaints. Our precious 5 year old Golden was sick with stomach problems. Dr. Hopper assured us it would go away and nothing serious was wrong. Boy was she wrong. Upon taking her to the emergency vet we found that she needed surgery because an ultrasound (something Killian Hill couldn't offer) showed a small toy was lodged in her stomach. Several thousands of dollars and a dog that is no longer with us, we can't help but to think that Killian Hill dropped the ball. We will be using someone different now after sixteen years because our pets deserve the best. Do yours?

Since we were new to the Lilburn area, we were in need of a vet. After reading all the reviews for Killian Hill Animal hospital, I decided to disregard the review entitled “Cold” as it didn’t seem credible. I am really glad that I did. I had a great experience and quickly made an appointment to bring our other dog in.



Upon entering the business, I was greeted warmly by the staff. I took note that they looked me in the eye when speaking to me and gave clear explanations to my questions. I found them very friendly and professional. I especially appreciated that when directing me to an exam room, they took care that my dog didn’t confront another dog in the waiting room.



We saw Dr. Brady and I really liked him. He actually sat in the floor by my dog and made him at ease with the situation before moving into the exam. I enjoyed his sense of humor and found him to be very kind-hearted. I felt that he took great care to understand all the details of the health problems we were encountering. He was very helpful in explaining his diagnosis and gave me a good idea of what to expect financially, so that we can prepare for that. Additionally, I noticed that he treated his staff with a lot of respect and kindness.



I would heartily recommend this animal hospital to everyone.
