When you come to pick up your pet, we provide a dental aftercare kit and instructions on how to maintain your pet’s oral health at home.

Anesthesia and Surgery worries are minimized with physical exams, testing, and careful monitoring. Some patients require bloodwork before surgery to evaluate organ function. We use various methods of pain control to ensure your pet is comfortable, including anesthesia, nerve blocks, and pain medications. Your pet will likely be groggy afterward but should recover from the medications within a few hours.
Happy pets are healthy pets! A commonly overlooked aspect of a pet’s health is their oral health. Oral pain and infection can dramatically decrease a pet’s quality of life and longevity. In some cases, dental disease is also an indicator of something more serious such as other organ diseases, or bacterial or viral infections. It is essential to have your pet’s mouth checked regularly to spot dental disease early on. With early detection and thorough dental scalings, your pet’s oral health will remain in tip-top shape, and you can avoid more costly health problems down the road.
Regular checkups and early detection of disease help the mature pet live the best life possible. Heart, kidney, dental disease and arthritis pain are commonly detected aging problems. We give geriatric pets need more attention so they may maintain the best quality of life possible. X-rays or bloodwork are done to fully assess the status of your pet’s health. Our in-house blood machines allow us to get results in most cases in just one hour.

I could not be happier with my cat’s neutering. I arrived a little early, did the paperwork & was on my way home in 15/20 minutes. I got a call saying the procedure went well & was told I could pick him up at 1 o’clock. The vet discovered he had worms & went ahead & treated him for them. The instructions for aftercare helped. My cat responded much quicker & jumped at his food since he had not eaten for 14 hours prior to the procedure. That evening he was playful & demanded to be let outside. He has been outside a few times because that is his nature. He is now resting and recuperating from his traumatic experience yesterday. I say this because his normal day activity is to eat & have the run of the yard. I will return for next year’s inoculations.

The doctor and staff are excellent. On my last visit, they were able to see my pet right away without an appointment and made him feel much better. Dr. Oh always follows up with a call. It is a small practice so you get personal attention. I never feel rushed. Nice boarding service too. Great “nature trail” for dog walks. Open for a few minutes on Sunday and holidays to pick up boarders. Highly recommend their dog groomer too.
Grooming
Great vet! I’ve been taking my dog here for 2.5yrs. Dr. Oh and her staff are great with animals and affordable. I also board my dog there periodically with full confidence and use their grooming services. They do it all!
Senior Pet Care
We get tails wagging with walks on our nature trails. We aim for maximum fun and attention, yet minimal stress for our boarders. Because we are a small boarding facility, we are perfectly suited for individualized care and monitoring of any special needs and senior pets. Our boarders are housed in kennels and taken outdoors for exercise every 2 to 3 hours. We serve our pets Science Diet food twice daily. A veterinarian is on call daily for our guests. We encourage you to call, or even better, to visit with Fido and let him decide for himself!
