We have been with TVC for years! The staff there are very kind and compassionate. Our dogs have always been treated with love and I never worry about leaving them there for any care. We have had several after hours emergency visits that have saved our dogs lives. I am forever grateful for this office and do recommend them to anyone looking for pet care. Thank you TVC for all that you do, it does not go unnoticed!

I brought my dog in. He'd never been seen by this veterinarian before. The vet met us in the waiting room and grabbed my dog's mouth, checking his teeth. No petting, or building a relationship with the dog before this. Nothing. My dog nipped at him. I would have too, to be honest. He yelled at my dog, saying, "this is a bad dog", then left the room in a huff without saying another word. He came back maybe 5 minutes later and told me I would have to hold the dog (again in the waiting room) while he gave him a shot. I did. The vet then went behind the reception desk, sat beside the receptionist (who at this point looked a little embarrassed at his behavior), and reviewed my dog's records-none of them were up to his standards. I asked Dr. Griffith two questions: (1) Did my dog need to lose weight? A. (without looking at me or my dog) Probably wouldn't hurt. (2) What can I do to stop my dog from eating rocks? A. Nothing. I've seen a lot of dogs who eat rocks and they all end up in surgery. There is no helping it. It's extremely life threatening (a.k.a it's a hopeless case, your dog will likely die). I should say that I am not someone who thinks my dog or I should be treated like "nobles" as one writer put it. I was deeply hurt by the way I was treated. I sought a professional to help my dog, and was instead treated with disdain and hopelessness. When a person takes on a career in a field that requires nurturing and working with living things on a regular basis I expect positivity, and at the very least respect. I will say I have another dog that was seen by Dr. Griffith a few months ago and it was a much better visit. He gave my dog a shot and was helpful in explaining that heartworm medication is not necessary in Montana. That said, for me, it only takes one bad experience with a person mistreating me and/or my dog before I find somewhere else to take my business!

First things first, Libby is full of people expecting to be pampered and treated like nobles. These poor reviews are absolutely bull, as I have never had a bad visit. They have been 100% committed to helping every single animal myself, friends and family have ever taken in. Awesome feeling when you know you can leave your animals overnight and not have to worry about them. Most personable, compassionate vet I've ever gone to.

I have used Treasure Valley Vet. Clinic for about 12 years. I know my animals will be VERY well taken care of there and so am I. He and his gals really care about my animals feelings as well as mine and help any way they can, even when I rescued a baby rabbit. I'll be quite sad when Doug retires. The man is in his mid 70's and has worked the clinic 6 days a week for decades. His devotion really shows when he's put off his own retirement just to help our little town. I don't think we could ask for a better Vet. Sometimes if he's a bit rushed or blunt...give the man a break...he's only trying to help you and your critters. Anyone saying this clinic abuses animals is a dam liar and I'll stare them square in the face and tell them so. He's a wonderful vet. and I am blessed to have found their office. He's also given me the big coolers that he gets medicines in so I can make outdoor cat beds (stuffed with straw) for those that are outside all winter. Thank you TVVC!

These people are awful. I don't even know why they do this for a living. They are rude to customers and mean to the animals. They don't care about their patients at all. This was the worst vet I have ever met and I will never ever take my animals there again. I heard many similar horror stories about this "vet" after I started telling people about it.

I have used this vet many times over the years, he and his staff have a love and loyalty to animals that surpasses many other vet offices. They have always treated me and my family with courtesy and honesty. Prices are not too high and they worked with me when I wasn't able to have the full amount up front.

Had a hard time finding them because the addresses are all effed up because its on a US Hwy, they guided me in over the phone. I was new to town and they were very patient. I was with my animals when they did the vet work, and they treated them fine.

I think this baby Bob L. is being dramatic. I don't think vet clinics punch animals, and my dog knows veterinary clinics by their smell and as soon as she gets a whiff she puts on the breaks. No one likes going to the hospital, least of all little kids and dogs.

Honestly, I can never take my animals here again. My 6mos puppy was very mistreated, hit, punched, during her spaying visit. She was so traumatized that she has been afraid to even go into a car because it reminds her of her visit. On her f/u visit, she tried her best not to go inside past the doorway. I WILL NEVER, NEVER, NEVER take any of my pets there again. The staff is extremely rude on top of them mistreating my pet. SHAME on them! If you take your dog for any kind of surgery where they ask you to leave, beware. Your dog may not leave in the same mental health as they went in. Thank goodness another vet has come into the area since this happened to our dog. I would rather drive to Kalispell than to go back to Dr. Griffith.
