I hired them to remove 14 trees, leave wood, remove stumps and debris. The job was incomplete. I should have never paid prior to completion of the work. I contacted the BBC and Jim's response was to provide a rewritten contract excluding the work he was supposed to do. I've never seen such a dishonest person in my life. Reading another review shows his practice is to do incomplete jobs. I wouldn't recommend this company to an enemy.
Great price. Guys showed up and did a fabulous job. Very pleased with clean up as well. Definitely will recommend Tomahawk tree svc to anyone looking for quality results!
WE HIRED TOMAHAWK TO CUT DOWN A TREE IN OUR FRONT YARD. THE CREW CAME THE FOLLOWING WEEK. MY TREE WAS VERY BIG AT LEAST 40 FT. TALL. THEY DROPPED THAT TREE IN 2 HRS, SHREDDED THE TREE EXCEPT FOR LOGS WE WANTED, CLEANED UP ALL THE DEBRIS. JIM CAME NEXT DAY AND GRIND UP THE STUMP AND TOOK AWAY SHREDDING AS PER REQUESTED. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM FOR AND JOB GREAT JOB GUYS

Provided by SuperpagesGood wood,but the delivery was slow. Went from mid-morning to 4 or 5pm. Then showed up at 6:30pm In the rain.
We hired Tomahawk to cut down a tree in August. They promptly came out and cut down the tree but left the stump - which we wanted removed. Last month we hired them to cut down 2 more trees. This time they did an adequate job removing the trees and grinding the 3 stumps but they left all of the grindings for us to clean up. Now we have 2 pick-up loads of stump grindings in our back yard and have to hire another contractor to remove the mess. I will not hire them again.

Provided by SuperpagesThey do a good job of cutting down trees but they don't always grind the stumps or clean up the stump grindings afterward as promised. Last August, Tomahawk cut down a tree for us but never came back to grind the stump. Against my better judgement we hired them to cut down 2 more trees last month and grind the stumps - inlcuding the stump from August - and remove all of the stump grindings. The trees are gone and the stumps are now grinded but they left us with the mess to clean up. We now have about 2 pick-ups full of stump gringings in our back yard. Jim said he would be back the following week to remove it all but 3 weeks have passed and no word from anyone. Now we have to find another servide to clean up the big mess Tomahawk left behind. We will not hire them again.

Provided by SuperpagesThe best! A reasonable price, they were on the job within a week of getting the very reasonable estimate and they were on time, professional, very polite and worked steadily until they had completed the clean up of a monster tree. I highly recommend them.

Provided by SuperpagesGreat tree service....I had 2 trees removed in the fall. The owner came to my house to do an estimate and was very nice. He gave me the most reasonable price compared to the other 2 estimates I had done. He was able to accommodate my schedule. The owner was present at the time of removal to ensure that everything was taken care. I would recommend Tomahawk Tree Service to others.
