Dr. Walters earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, KS, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Who's Who Honors. She also received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Cleveland Chiropractic College. During her time at Cleveland, Dr. Walters found her niche in the functional model of patient care. She then began to spend most of her free time outside core classes taking extra-curricular seminars and hands-on workshops in advanced patient assessment and treatment from notable organizations such as the Motion Palpation Institute, Active Release Techniques, and the Central Institute for Human Performance, all of whom employ some of the nation’s top manual practitioners as instructors. Dr. Walters believes chiropractic care is a two way street and working with her patients to provide an individualized treatment plan while educating her patients on the importance of active care and exercise. Dr. Walters played sports all throughout high school and college. She continues to keep an active lifestyle whether its kick-boxing, jogging, or plyo-metric/resistance training workouts which also helps her identify with the athletes she sees in her office. When not at the office, Dr. Walters enjoys spending her time with her husband and son. Dr. Walters and her family are dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle and keeping active.
