        Terrible customer service - downright rude. The food is mediocre - not worth the hefty helping of bad attitude that it comes with.

        I'm going to preface this by saying I LOVE THIS PLACE. So what's the problem? THEY ARE NEVER OPEN when you want them to be open! It drives me nuts. And they don't advertise their hours, probably because they're never open. It's 8:00 PM on a Tuesday night and I got their answering machine. Every time I go there on weekend EARLY EVENINGS, they are closed. It's getting to the point where I'm just going to give up on them and take my money elsewhere. UGH, too bad because their Chicken Souvlaki pita and the falafel pit is great. Oh well. Too bad this owner just can't seem to get it right. :(

        It is a wonderful alternate to fast food options. It is fast but it is good healthy food.

        Finally...healthy fast food

        The Pita Pit is the best fast option for healthy food in Lee's Summit. They make pita wraps to order which typically have marinated chicken and they also have Gyros. You pick your toppings like Romaine or Spinach, as well as olives, mushrooms, sprouts, cucumbers, tomatoes and a dressing. It's a great post-gym meal!
