Pampered Pets

I've been with Pampered Pets for 3 years now and love them. Jodie, the owner, knows her dogs and does a great job grooming my poodles! She is early to rise, so bringing them early means they are usually finished by 1. I highly recommend PP!

I made an appointment two weeks in advance. When I got there the place was closed and locked. I called the owner who did no respond. Two days later, she left a nasty voicemail on my phone telling me I was wrong about that the date, which I wasn't. How very unprofessional! I will never go back again!!

We made an appointment to get our long-haired cat groomed at Pampered Pets. It was going to be a 3-week wait, but she said she only does cats on Mondays so it's less stressful for them. Sounded great, so we scheduled. I dropped our kitty off and the lady called me an hour and a half later and said "I guess she's ready to be picked up, because I can't groom her." She went on to explain that because the cat hissed at her, she couldn't finish clipping her. She said the cat was "very adamant" that she "didn't want to be clipped". Seriously? She's a cat. Of course she's going to hiss at a stranger who is coming toward her with loud clippers. Our kitty has been groomed by several people across several states, and everyone has always commented on how sweet and mild-tempered she is. The lady also said that our cat now has a "reverse mohawk". I told her she couldn't just leave her like that, and she offered to try again if we could come in and hold the cat down! We decided to just bring her home. I am shocked that someone who apparently has a fear of cats would advertise to groom them. I am also shocked that this woman never apologized, and instead began to yell at us when we picked up the cat. I would not recommend Pampered Pets to anyone with a cat, especially a 10-year-old kitty who doesn't care for strangers.
