Shoney's

DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOUR WILLING TO RISK SICKNESS OR DEATH. Horrible experience! My wife and I got sick after eating at this location a couple of weeks ago. I've been eating at this Shoney's since I was young, and have always enjoyed, but my experiences over the past year shows me something has changed. My wife and I ate the Phillycheese steak and were sick within thirty minutes, we couldn't even let my son eat what he wanted off the buffet because the shrimp was cold and the pudding, whipped cream and salad dressings were hot. When I contacted the management to let them know about the situation they just passed the buck to the next manager, gave a bunch of excuses, and said they would have someone call me back and they never did. The bottom line is; DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOUR WILLING TO RISK SICKNESS OR DEATH.

My husband and I went to Shoney's for our 3rd anniversary on 2/13/12. It was the worse experience I have ever had at Shoney's. I don't know what is going on at our Lawrenceburg Shoney's, however, it is a very poor atmosphere there. The heat wasn't working, and has been out for at least 2 weeks. Our server didn't offer to clear any plates during our visit, until we were ready to leave. We waited for 15 minutes for a to-go box, and never received it. She went to another table, and began taking their order, after I asked for the box. The restaurant wasn't very busy, however, the staff was slow, and seemed to not care about doing their job. I used to love to go to Shoney's, and did go often. I think this will be my last visit to the Lawrenceburg Shoney's. Goodbye Shoney's :( very disappointed
