We thought about installing a solar system after a few solar companies' visiting in 2013 November. They liked to use our roof to install and sell electricity to us with a cheap price, or we pay everything. But their offers were not good. So we tried to install the system out of our pocket.



We called a few companies but not satisfied with them either. Then I learned Eastwest Solar from a google search. They are not very far from us and when we met, they are so friendly and considerate for us. And of course their price and terms are very good and even gave us more options to choose based on our situation.



Of course, we chose them to install our on-grid solar system. So the system installation was finished on January 15, two weeks after we signed the contract. But the inspection took a long time to wait but finally it passed in March.



So we started an electricity-independent life. The electricity it generated covers all our need in summer (you know we use AC a lot in summer, don't you?), and a lot surplus in other seasons. As the energy price rises now, we are accumulating credits in our account in PEPCO, and only pay the system charge of about $8. And it will be like this in the next 25 years without worrying any electricity price rising or outrage or anything! The solar system has a 25 years warranty, they will repair or replace any parts of the system to make sure it works.

We are very happy with the end result. The system looks good and works properly. Since then, our electric bill has been substantially lower.
