Wild Orchid Nails & Spa

I had an appointment but the girl didn't show up so I was told to come back in an hour. I did. Waited an extra 15 minutes, then was taken to a desk (only to be moved to another one). I had brought along a picture of what I wanted done, asked the girl how much for her to COMPLETELY duplicate what was in the picture, she said $55 (ok, not bad). She started on my nails, Then the girl got into a conversation in another language with another nail tech, NOW they were going to magically cost me $65 (ok whatever, just do a good job). Then the other nail tech tells me that she feels bad I had to wait so long so is going to give me a discount back down to $60 (cool). Then after everything is done and im sitting with my hands under a blacklight hardening my nails the girl that did my nails comes up and tells me that the nail art will be an extra $15!!! Umm WHAT????? Nail art????? Are you kidding me? Ok I can understand if she did some sort of picture, but all I had extra than the gel acrylic was a few random black lines (and they were all uneven and looked like the paint was 10 years old) PLUS the black lines were a part of what was in the picture!

Do NOT go here, they are FOREVER trying to upsell something that was already included in the original negotiated price! Been here SEVERAL times, and never fails, they all try to rip you off!

I've gotten better work done at a walmart of all places! Seriously girls? A walmart has better nail techs AND cheaper prices???

I had an appt., CINDY (the owner) took 3 walk-ins before me. After almost 4 hrs CARRIE (her sister) started on me and 2 other techs finished me. A fullset and pedi over $100.00. YOU can KISS my black _SS for my time and $$$. F_CK you B!TCH...

I had been going to Wild Orchid for over 4 years- it wasnt always bad- I agree with the other reviews- the wait is terrible- and lately its gotten worse.. in the last 6 appointments have been cancelled on their behalf and rescheduled- the last time I was told to be there at 4:15 and still had not been seen at 5:15 and the bickering between the staff is palatable. as a client who tipped very well and was always on time for an appointment- i felt like the walk ins were being treated better. its unfortunate as now I need to find a nail salon that believes in customer service and stands behind an appointment...

I have been going to this nail salon for years but danyg they are soooo expensive and you think with the economy the way it is that they would give you a break.. thats just being greedy and i ssend so many people there and they all say the same thing TO EXPENSIVE... and why is the salon so hot omg.. Go to nail art on sunset they to do great work..

I was a regular customer at Wild Orchid for 4 years, until I finally had enough! I would spend at least $150.00 every 2 weeks on nails, pedi and waxing, and I would always have an appt., because I played the musical chairs with them before...bad experience! I always knew their prices were too high, but I would go in to see certain members of the staff anyways. On my last visit the owner Cindy humiliated me in front of other customers and staff! She argued with me about my appt. time, it was very embarrassing and unprofessional! Not only are they always trying to sell you cheap jewelry or some pyramid scam, but " HELLO< IT"S 110 DEGREES OUTSIDE, HOW ABOUT SHUTTING THE DOOR AND TURNING ON THE AIR CONDITIONING!!!" If you are gonna over-pay for a half decent service, you should at least not have to sweat while sitting there.They will not see one more penny of mine! It wouldn't be a bad idea if they got some new polish either, the same ones have been sitting there for 4 years! Good luck Wild Orchid, you will need it!!

I went in there with an appointment and they called me in 2 hours later, sooon to find out that the girl I made a appt with was &amp;quot;too busy&amp;quot; to fit me in, when I saw her take in 2 walk-ins ahead of me. Then this other chick did a fill for me that ended up looking like I had press on nails. can you fu%ken believe it?! I paid over 40 dollars to get this kind of sh!t on my fingers. NO. i wasnt trying to leave with these ugly as$$ nails on my fingers so i told them to fix it so they had me wait for half an hour to have someone else make them descent to leave with and, get this, they charged me for 2 fills. really?! woooow.... biggest rip off ever.

YESS!!!! I found a new place to go to. NAIL ART, on Sunset Rd. and Sandhill in the Kmart Shopping Center. THey do good work reasonable price.!!! Trust me, I use to go Wild Orchid too, waited forever. Good job, musical chairs, too greedy ; takes walk-ins first.They are boogy. Marketing some b.s. and always trying to sell you something, when you go there you want to relax not get hustled on. I believe it, I've been there for 4 hours for pedicure and fullset.

GO TO NAIL ART . YOU WILL LOVE IT, I DID!!!

I have been going to this nail salon for over 2 years now, ..... they do an excellent job when you can finally get in. Weather you make an appointment or are a walk in you will be quickly taken in and told to wait a few minutes. A few minutes turns into hours of waiting. I can't do it any more! I love the nails, they do a great job, but are too expensive and have very poor customer service. I don't like moving from person to person or chair to chair when I'm getting my nails done. Everything is disorganized :( I just got back from there and left furious because I called before I came to see if I could get right in, the owner said yes. So I came in, and waited for a hour and a half while other walk ins were taken before me ????? I tip well too :( :( :( I always give 15 to the nail tech and get a toe polish change (not a pedicure, because who knows how long I would be there then) and tip the girl 5 for removing my old polish and repainting my toes. When you are at a nail salon for 3 plus hours it's hard to leave happy. Even though they do a good job, my time is very important to me. One last tip,Tina is an older woman doing nails and every time she has done my nails (about 7 times) she cuts me with the drill! It's aw full! My fingers bleed and hurt for days, wish I could take a picture of this finger now. If anyone has a new nail spot to go to please leave a comment. I need one, I will not ever go to wild orchid again after today.

I was in the shopping center and thought I'd stop in to get a full set after I went to Starbucks and they quickly took me in. I waited for almost two hours and the girl finally started on me She had some cute designs on her nails but before she even finished my nails she had me move to a different chair. Then after I washed my hands, Someone else finished me off. It was like musical chairs in that tiny salon. All I had done was pink and white and some flowers and spent dam near $100. They're just too rich for my blood. Im good.

This is the best nail salon that I have ever been to. They are very professional and have the most advanced selections of nail art and styles. I will highly recommend this shop to everyone.
