Seriously, I am writing this 4 hours after having had a root canal. I'm still waiting to feel it. The Novocain wore off 3 hours ago. I've eaten... it is like nothing ever happened. Dr. Cox and also the assistant anticipated every possible feeling or reaction I could have had... "pre" having them in the moment. There were no surprises, only reassuring distractions that worked, seasoned professionals, a well oiled team. While it was happening I was thinking... how could someone like myself who lives in terror when even thinking about the word "dentist" be laying here interested in all the sounds, tools and machines going on... with no fear? There was not 1% discomfort while the root canal was being worked on, a molar in the most difficult of areas. There was no fudging around, no hesitations... they went right in for a direct hit, got the job done and I was out of there. Perfect! They get five stars from me.
