Composite tooth bonding is a cosmetic dentistry procedure that can enhance your smile. Dental composite is made of a synthetic resin and comes in different shades and translucencies. With the proper skill, it can achieve beautiful results for your teeth which look completely natural. Composite can be used to fill cavities, replace old silver amalgam fillings, or fix minor chips, spaces, and stains in one appointment.
Resin Composite
Restoring aesthetics and function with composite resin. Trauma from a bicycle accident resulting in avulsion of three front teeth which were re-implanted, splinted, root canal therapy and bonded with composite resin. Treatment time spanned over 8 weeks and final tooth position will be achieved with orthodontic therapy.
Veneers
Porcelain veneers are thin ceramic shells that are bonded to your teeth for many different reasons. Veneers are routinely used to enhance your smile but many times are also used to protect the teeth from wear (grinding) and to re-establish a proper bite. Teeth that are prepared for veneers have very little healthy tooth structure removed and sometimes require no preparation at all.
Crowns
Crowns are most often used to restore teeth that are significantly damaged or decayed, but can’t be fixed with a composite filling. Dental Crowns can be made from a variety of materials. Depending on the case, we will select the best material, aiming for a balance between esthetics and longevity.

You will brush and floss your restorations just like natural teeth with some additional floss threading under the bridge to clean underneath it. The most common area to get recurrent tooth decay is under the tooth that is being replaced which cannot be flossed in a traditional method of snapping between the teeth as they are splinted together. The floss must be guided underneath (we have flossing aides to assist and will teach you) and then wrapped around each abutment tooth independently

Teeth Whitening
We offer several different options for teeth whitening. In office power bleaching can be done if you are looking for quick results with little effort. It typically takes 1.5 hours in the office and we do a series of rounds of applying a high concentration bleach and you will see immediate results. Your second option would be custom fabricated whitening trays made from impressions that fit your teeth snugly that you place a small dab of bleach in each tooth and wear at home according to the concentration of bleach you choose. We offer three different concentrations that will help you get the results you want and control any sensitivity. We also sell over the counter bite in bleach and go trays for a quick fix.
