Photographer Jason James Skinner specializes in documentary wedding photography, contemporary portraiture, and fine-art dance photography. Weddings: My style of wedding photography is both modern and romantic, with a mix of photojournalism and contemporary portraiture. I find every wedding unique, and strive to create images that capture the quirks and graces of each individual. I am constantly looking for the fleeting, unscripted moments that tell the real story of each experience, but I don?t shy away from occasionally adding direction. My poses are usually inspired by fashion and fifties nostalgia. I believe that through blending candid moments with hints of fantasy, I can truly capture that elusive wedding-day magic.
